Hello ATA fans new and old, old or young, human or... well, Asguardian? Kryptonian? Hulk? I don't know! Welcome to Across the Airwaves' newest spin-off, entitled, Road to the Avengers!  This podcast miniseries is our first attempt at commentating on some of our favorite movies, and what better movie to start off with than "Iron Man"! Iron Man was the 1st of many movies that Marvel Studios was behind to be apart of a "bigger universe", aka the Avengers Universe. In honor of may 4th's release of "The Avengers", we here at ATA, well, mainly Dan and myself, started the "Road to Avengers" campaign! This campaign will start with Iron Man and end with Captain America: The First Avenger, all before the release of Marvel's The Avengers. Hey ATA Listeners, have you ever had those moments in your life where it feels like everything is going your way? Well, that's what happened with Nico and I recording this podcast because we ended up with one of our best episodes ever.  Don't get me wrong, there was still editing that needed to be done,  but in terms of emotions we were running on full cylinders by giving you some good old fashion drama as this week's Castle prompted Nico to get up on  his soapbox to make an intelligent argument about how reality shows are making people stupid one episode at a time and  watching the third episode of  Fox's new series Alcatraz caused me to express a serious concern about there not being any more original ideas out there for a sci-fi/fantasy TV Series. Petty) talk about the newest trailers for "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Avengers" as well as the recently announced "Smallville: Season 11" comic written by ATA fan favorite: Bryan Q. Miller! Over the years there has been many characters on Television that I've loved but there isn't one that I admire as much as Chuck Bartkowski. In the world that he exists in most people just see him as a lowly Buy More employee, you know the guy that you call when there's a computer emergency.  Then again, to  the people that are closest to him and us as the audience Chuck is a goofball nerd, a hapless romantic, a heroic spy but most importantly Charles Irving Bartkowski always knew how to help those in need by just emanating this internal optimism that had a habit of reminding us no matter how hopeless things appear to be, they can turn out to be okay in the end. In fact, I'd like to think Chuck created a movement in the real world that inspired fans to live life with his eternal optimism as we tirelessly went out to buy our 3-D glasses, order Subway sandwiches and join in on a flash mobs all to overcome the hopeless situation of NBC canceling Chuck but somehow like with the experiences of the show's title char

Hey ATA Listeners, this week's episode is entitled Don't Go Breaking My Heart because Cam and Mitchell sang the actual song on the Modern Family and we don't want Fox to go breaking our hearts over their recent stunning announcements.  The first being Fox calling Fringe a money pit that has put Season 5 in doubt and second the network setting the release of new Bones episodes to an undetermined date following the airing of the new American Idol season. However, despite this awful double whammy that sent us reeling, we did have something to be excited about on this ATA Episode an e-mail from ATA Supporter Jason Andorfer that made it into our review section for Person of Interest. Also this week we have some great discussions on Castle, an episode of Bones that was one of the series' best, Person of Interest, the third to final episode of Chuck, Fringe and a fun throwback to The Untouchables on Supernatural.
