  On this episode of Football 2 the MAX, Sean Garmer and Erik Watkins begin by discussing the College National Championship game. Could the Alabama quarterback change cause an issue for next season? So does this make the committee correct? Does Georgia make it back next year? After that, the guys discuss the latest in the New England Patriots drama involving Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. With all of them doing interviews saying the contrary, is it possible there's some sensationalizing in the ESPN story? Or are the Patriots just playing damage control? Sean Comer and Mark Radulich kick off a new year of On Trial with 300! 300 is a 2006 American epic war film based on the 1998 comic series 300 by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley. Both are fictionalized retellings of the Battle of Thermopylae within the Persian Wars. The film was directed by Zack Snyder, while Miller served as executive producer and consultant. It was filmed mostly with a super-imposition chroma key technique, to help replicate the imagery of the original comic book. The plot revolves around King Leonidas (Gerard Butler), who leads 300 Spartans into battle against the Persian "god-King" Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his invading army of more than 300,000 soldiers. As the battle rages, Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey) attempts to rally support in Sparta for her husband. The story is framed by a voice-over narrative by the Spartan soldier Dilios (David Wenham). Through this narrative technique, various fantastical creatures are introduced, placing 300 within the genre of historical fantasy.

King Leonidas leads a Spartan army of only 300 men into battle against the army of Xerxes I of Persia, a force outnumbering them by thousands to one. The Spartans maintain a stand-still, holding off Xerxes' forces for two full days at a narrow pass known as the Hot Gates before the deformed and treacherous Ephialtes betrays the Spartans to Xerxes. This betrayal leads to the outflanking of the remaining Spartan soldiers, and their inevitable deaths on the third day. The tale ends a year later at the battle of Plataea where a now-united Greek army prepares for the final battle against Xerxes.

2018 is here, and the 411 expert panel convenes to have a look at all the relevant MMA action.  First up they'll look back at the last card of 2017, UFC 219 when featherweight champion Cris "Cyborg" Justino retained her featherweight title against Holly Holm and Khabib Nurmagomedov reminded everyone that he might be the best lightweight in the world.  They'll also look to the future, specifically at Fight Night 124 when The Korean Superboy Doo Ho Choi takes on Jeremy Stephens in the main.  The panel will also preview UFC 220 when heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic takes on Francis Ngannou and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier takes Volkan Oezdemir.

Fuller House is an American sitcom created by Jeff Franklin that airs as a Netflix original series, and is a sequel to the 1987–1995 television series Full House. It centers around D.J. Sean Comer and Mark Radulich end a year of On Trial's with their look back at Jumanji (1995)! Jumanji is a 1995 American fantasy adventure film directed by Joe Johnston. It is an adaptation of the 1981 children's book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg. The film was written by Van Allsburg, Greg Taylor, Jonathan Hensleigh, and Jim Strain and stars Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt, Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce, David Alan Grier, Jonathan Hyde, and Bebe Neuwirth. The story centers on young Alan Parrish, who becomes trapped in a board game while playing with his best friend Sarah Whittle in 1969. Twenty-six years later, siblings Judy and Peter Shepherd find the game, begin playing and then unwittingly release the now-adult Alan. After tracking down Sarah, the quartet resolve to finish the game in order to reverse all of the destruction it has caused.
