Thomas Hoffknecht, born 1985 in Hamburg, began to make some experiences in music soon in his life.  14 years old he didn't just love turntables but loved to do more with them than just let them play music with a needle. so in young ages, with 16 years, he had his first gigs in public and when he got to know this feeling of playing in front of a crowd of people he soon wanted more.  so in 2009 he started to produce a few minimal tracks and elaborated himself steadily.  and as a man who's always aspiring for more, he soon got some great techno releases on labels like Delta Code, Unkown Territory, Dmom, Illegal Alien Rec.  There are planned many more EP's on magnificient labels in the future from the man with this perpetually techno inside his whole body. At the age of 14 he begins and follows his collection of Hardcore and Acid vinyls. In 2003, he starts his career in the studio producing projects with his brother, THE TWINS ARTCORE and ALARMA RAVERS, achieving international success and performing at major events, including the Q- Base. In 2014 he produces something different from the usual, something he had long desired for. And thus D-Leria came to life. Starting with a Roland MC 909, the result was a series of explosive “acid” tracks. By attending the unique underground club of his province ‘Affekt club‘, he meets Alex Dolby, founder and owner of the label ‘Affekt Recordings’. Here he earned the spot as a resident DJ. Both immediately prefer gloomy and german-style sounds and, during their performance, realize they can offer a 2-mind-view of techno concept to their crowd. So that after only 1 year from the birth of their project, they are chosen as resident djs at Magazzini Generali, one of the biggest techno club in Italy.
