We continue in the Gospel of Luke in Chapter 18:1-8. Join us for this Message Only version. This week Jesus shares an important parable with his disciples. He knows that they're heading into challenging days that could cause them to lose heart. Injustice was alive and well in their day and in this short but powerful parable Jesus teaches us what we are to do when we're about to lose heart.

We're back in the Gospel of Luke and a short but poignant passage. After a number of parables and teachings aimed at the hypocrisy, pride and greed of the Pharisees, Jesus turns to share these words with his disciples. Join us as we learn directly from Jesus, 'How to Live The Christian Life.'

Churches across the world are declaring, "He is risen, He is risen indeed," on this day. No other event has had the impact on human history that the resurrection of Jesus from the dead has had. Join us as we look at one short passage from Luke's Gospel that tells us what happened on the first Easter Sunday morning.

We continue in the Gospel of Luke where Jesus ends the chapter with one final concluding parable in His most recent encounter with the religious Pharisees. It's His most loving and yet challenging parable yet. It's about life and death, Heaven and hell, and the ultimate question the we all have, "Is there life after death?" Listen as we hear Jesus answer those questions and more for us.

This week we continue in the Gospel of Luke and chapter 16:14-14. Jesus has just concluded another parable aimed at teaching the Pharisees and all those who thought that their religion, the keeping of rules and regulations would save them, that they, once again had it wrong. Their response? They ridiculed Jesus. Today, in these few verses we hear Jesus respond to them.

This week we continue in the Gospel of Luke and chapter 16:1-13 with another one of Jesus' parables. After 3 consecutive parables aimed at the religious Pharisees and people like them, this parable Jesus directs to his disciples. The Pharisees are still lurking about but the message is for those who have chosen to follow Him. It's a challenging message, especially for our day and certainly our current times. It is also quite relevant and we hope, helpful.

This week we continue in the Gospel of Luke and chapter 15:11-32 with one of, if not the most famous, parable of Jesus. This is the 3rd parable that Jesus teaches following the events at yet another dinner party. This final parable is certainly the most powerful and important of them all and give us great insights into the way of salvation for both the immoral and moralistic.

What gives you joy? What takes your joy away? For many of us today joy seems to be fleeting. Life is often filled with more valleys than mountain top experiences. Join us as we head back into the Gospel of Luke where we find Jesus at another meal and this time with the kind of people He prefers to break bread with. This meal sets up a series of parables that are all about Finding Lasting Joy.

This week we head back into the Gospel of Luke and some of the most radical words ever spoken by Jesus. A crowd is following Him again and this time what He has to say to them and us today is intended to make us very uncomfortable. But why? Listen or watch as we discover the answer to one of Life's Biggest Questions.

This week, we conclude our 6-week series, the Gifts of God For the Whole Church. This week we'll have a look at 'The Gifts of The Father' from 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. Maybe you were told that the gifts that are given to the church for the common good are all from the Holy Spirit. Listen or watch as we discover that all three members of the Trinity—Father, Son and Holy Spirit contribute gifts that are all empowered in us through the Spirit.

Having discovered the gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds & teachers that Jesus gives to the church, we know turn to the charismata, the grace gifts of the Spirit. The word 'shepherd' is often replaced with the title Pastor today and therefore assumed to refer to an office in the church. Listen or watch as we discover what Jesus really has in mind as he gives gifted shepherds to His church today.

The Scripture teaches that all Christians are to share the good news, do the work of an evangelist. The question then is, "Why are so few us willing to use this gift in our day to day lives."

Following on from our look at Apostles last Sunday this week we'll have a look at 'Prophets, Prophesy & the Prophetic' from Ephesians 4:11-13 and 1 Corinthians 12-14. What changes if the church Jesus said He would build is not a building, a place or an event? What changes if we, every Christian, is the church? The church that Jesus had in mind is a living organism not an organization. It is the Body of Christ, living out the mission of Christ in the everyday and everywhere.
