A digger par excellence, Sam’s selections change with his surroundings to slot in with his invitees or flow to their own wayward conclusions, often evading strict genre to revel in groove and atmosphere through deep house, techno, ultramodern breakbeats, wave, vintage tech house, early trance, and leftfield picks. Acid Camp Vol. 140 — Dancers Anonymous
05/01/2023 Duración: 01h04minFollow @danrogen Dan here. This mix is special to me - it’s all quality tracks, some new, more old, just electro and techno that has sustained me through the slush and the subway and the shutdowns. But it’s more than that: I remember when Acid Camp was Alberto’s Tamales, bulk fabric from a downtown stall, home-built speakers, all-friend lineups. It was incredibly special watching Aaron take the dream so many of us shared - community, music, release - and bring it into the world, for real. It was also fun as hell. Those days inspired me to try DJ’ing, all these years later, across the country, in a different world. But I’ll never forget those late nights, and I’ll never throw out my Acid Camp shirts. Dancers Anonymous was a radio show I had, and might be again. @DancersAnonymous.Club on IG. See you on the floor.

08/03/2021 Duración: 01h01minFollow @zahremaar zahremaar (pronounced zah - reh - mar) is an Iranian-American, Los Angeles based DJ and producer. His DJ sets pay homage to the dark, driving sonic landscapes in the spaces he has felt most free—the warehouses, store basements, and few special clubs whose rumbles anchor the underground. By day, he works as a design engineer for a plant based meat company, and has come to respect minimalism as an incisive tool to understand the variables that influence quality. His Acid Camp mix is driven by this passion, and aims to explore the meaning of minimalism within the harder depths of techno, building into a sound heavily influenced by memories of the now quiet spaces that were once such a part of our lives. Acid Camp Vol. 129 — JAMS J
09/01/2021 Duración: 01h40minFollow @jams-j With this mix, I set out to make it about Acid, of course, but with my twist. I did play a lot of the 303 lines because well, I love em. But more than that I wanted to harness the energy of what Acid House was when it was first introduced to the world.… spunky, fun, euphoric, psychedelic, and with lots of attitude...This mix symbolizes this for me and represents my own personal journey through different era's as a DJ... Some of these records have been in my collection for more than two decades, while others came to me just a few days before recording. This mix is dedicated to my brother in beats, Marc Bartissol, aka Dull, and to the best dude ever, Chris Cavilear. Both of whom were unexpectedly taken from me last year... Enjoy 😈

Acid Camp Vol. 127 — Beaner & Olin (6 Hours of Whole Wheat Flour Nuclear Power: Pt. 3)
24/07/2020 Duración: 01h41minFollow @beaner & @olin Originally, this 3 part series was meant to come out June 1st, but in light of the murder of George Floyd and the collective righteous anger in pursuit of justice and an end to the cancer that is policing, all of us involved felt it was necessary to put it aside. Taking a step back, being thoughtful about your actions, and critically analyzing what you are doing - and why - is really important to us. To be clear: Black erasure in dance music is horribly real and requires deep examination and decisive action. In relation to the wider world, we believe that the emancipation of Black people is the crest of a revolutionary wave for a better world. Without humanity restoring the personhood that Black people have been stripped of and denied, we will never build a better world. Personally, as “artists” we struggle with the rabidly individualistic self-promotion culture that is deeply entrenched in the dance music “scene”. Production fetishization, Rise-&-Grind culture, and Techno as a shall
