We are going to dive into something new and pretty exciting. We have organized an art crawl in Sonoma county. Specifically, in the town of Healdsburg. Our aim in this special episode is to introduce listeners to the history of Healdsburg, while also taking listeners on a little walking tour of this small yet culturally invigorating little town. Take a stroll through the local history as well as meet some of the artists, gallery owners and collectives that make this popular little town POP!

Season 1 Episode 4: Greenpoint Brookyn Welcome back to the 4th episode of Artifications, where we spent time chatting with Nathan Windsor and Owen Houhoulis, both of Greenpoint's famed Pencil Factory. Nathan acts as an administrator of the 6th floors Pencilworks while Owen runs the Owen James Gallery, which is located within the Pencil Factory. No joke, there is alot going on within those halls. Sonoma County is the region of land called the “North Bay”, one of the top “Wine Regions” of the Country. People generally associate the area with Flowing field of vines, Wicker baskets full of grapes, bushels of plump berries to juice, and overall attention to sustaining a good quality of life.

Artifications visits Las Vegas and gets up close and personal with the art scene. We explore the galleries of the 18B arts district, and speak with local artists and gallery owners about how they create their markets.

Artifications: Season 1 Episode 1: Denver As 2016 comes To a close, the city of Denver prepares for its “First Friday” of the new year. For the last number of years, this popular city-wide event has gone on, every first Friday without issue. and while artists and patrons alike have celebrated this for years without much thought, the scene is experiencing a backlash. The DIY flair of the burgeoning arts community has come under fire as of late. Some say it is a direct result of the “Ghostship” fire, that resulted in the death of 36 people at their art loft space in Oakland, California. Let's explore how a beloved Community can both exist and thrive as a larger society tries to find the right balance between “safe space” and “creative space”.
