We were lucky enough to be one of the members of the media once again invited to take part in a conference call interview with Keifer Sutherland, or as millions have come to know him as Special Agent Jack Bauer. Someone once said "Rock and Roll Never Dies." I could take that a step further. I prefer to think of rock music as getting better with age. The more time passes since the genre first took hold, the more we appreciate the truly great rock artists of our time. Artists like Jeffrey "Skunk" Baxter (Doobie Brothers/Steely Dan), Barry Goudreau (formerly of Boston), Fran Sheehan (formerly of Boston), Leroy "LSR" Romans (The Wailers/3rd World), Robert "Mousey" Thomson (James Brown), and lead vocalist Danny Beissel (Fosterchild). What began as a way to give back to charities eight years ago has become something more, and Danny was good enough to fill us in on how it all began as well as where it's headed.

Fozzy has gained some much deserved respect in the metal world, and for good reason. They have been proving for years that they are so much more than their larger than life frontman, pro wrestling great Chris Jericho. They have true talent, and phenomenal stage presence.....not to mention a huge fan following. Anoop Desai blew the judges and America away with his rendition of Boyz II Men's 'Thank You' on American Idol, season eight. His rich voice kept him in the competition and in the minds of his fans for a good run. By far one of the most anticipated shows that FOX has offered up to kick off 2013 is 'The Following', starring none other than Kevin Bacon. This thriller featuring a serial killer with cult-like followers and former FBI agent Ryan Hardy played by critically acclaimed actor Kevin Bacon has hit written all over it. It was a definite pleasure to listen to an actor of Mr. Sutherland's caliber talk so passionately about his new project. With hundreds of members of the press hoping to get a chance to talk to Keifer, he was gracious enough to spend 25 minutes answering all that he could about this great new show from FOX.

I had the pleasure of participating in a FOX television conference call interview with the extraordinary Zooey Deschanel. Zooey spoke with myself and several other members of the media about her upcoming FOX series, 'The New Girl.' Our question was near the end of the interview, but the entire conference call was great and Zooey was very nice to chat with. Devin Brochu is a very talented young actor that we expect to hear about over and over again in the years to come. We were introduced to him recently when viewing HESHER, an independent film starring Brochu, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rainn Wilson and Piper Laurie. This film has elements of dark comedy, drama, heavy metal, anarchy, will make you laugh and bring you to tears. We highly recommend it.
