They get on a conference call to discuss their futures. LeBron says he's going to sign a four-year deal with a player option after the third year, making him a free agent in 2010. Wade and Bosh follow suit. Melo decided to sign a five-year deal with a player option after the fourth year, making him a free agent in 2011. We all know what happens next. LeBron, Wade and Bosh win two NBA titles together in Miami, while Melo wins three playoff series total in Denver and New York. What if Melo had listened to LeBron?
