Outdated References

After Star Wars book talking between Russ and Adam, we move onto our impressions of the Mandalorian Season finale and then to Star Trek Picard Series Finale.  It's going to be weird, living in a Sci-Fi drought in the next coming weeks...   This week we focus on Mandalorian Episode 6 "Guns for Hire" & Episode 7 "Spies" only to counter with Star Trek Picard Season 3 Episode 8 "Surrender" and Episode 9 "Vox." I shouldn't have to say it but spoilers ahead for a show that ended a month ago. Hey we really are living up to the whole Outdated moniker, no?   --Nathan

One of the only good things about editing older shows, besides living up to the outdated moniker, is that I get to enjoy foresight and see what crazy BS theory sticks to the wall.  This week is a long-ish episode because there was a lot to talk about!  Wo covered the final two Episodes of "The Last of Us," Episode 12 & 13 of Bad Batch, episode 2 & 3 of "The Mandolarian" and the cream of this week's show recap, "Star Trek Picard"  Ep4 "No Win Situation" & Ep 5 "Imposters." Here's the cliff notes: Antman 3 is fun, Go watch Poker Face now, still cautiously optimistic about Star Trek Picard, loving Captain Shaw (suck it haters,) Bad Batch is great, and Last of Us is sad but so amazing. --Nathan   

Russ and Nathan catch up with Russ’ Las Vegas vacation. Hint: We actually talk about games and manga! Crazy, I know.    Eventually we move on to the season premiere of Star Trek Picard Episode 1: The Next Generation. Will this seasons recover from the 2 season of disappointments? We can't forget The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 7, 8, & 9, and the HBO darling, Last of US Episode 4 and 5.   --Nathan    

Again sorry of the delay. Russ was in town and we were just having too much fun gaming, drinking and eating too much. So this week, Russ and Nathan are the primary guys with Adam popping up between mountain ranges as he is driving back out to New Mexico. We gush on more Last of Us and Bad Batch.  --Nathan   

This week Russ, Adam, and Nathan get to talk about HBO's "Last of Us" and we are continuing out discussions about "Bad Batch."  as a bonus, we are also going to drop Episode 141, asap. Apologize for the tardiness of these episodes, life got stupid busy.  --Nathan   

This week, Adam, Russ, and I gather to talk about our holidays as we move onto books, comic books, and manga we have either read or listened to. There’s a couple of movie recommendations in there as well, but then we move on to our main topic, the Season finale of Star Trek Prodigy and the Season premiere of Star Wars: Bad Batch. Our collective New Years has been good so far and we are excited about all the new shows coming our way in the coming months, so verify that all your subscription's services are all up to date as we continue our adventure of BS’ing about everything and anything that comes to our minds. --Nathan  

This week will be our final episode for this year, as we all hunker down for the upcoming holiday season. So please enjoy this episode as we talk about all of the new trailers, talk about the current status of Las Vegas, argue about a Japanese guy not knowing who is Batman... We are all over the place this week, but eventually we focus on Star Trek Prodigy: Episode 16 "Preludes" & Episode 17 "Ghost in the Machine." So next year, we will catch up on "Wednesday" & "Willow."  Happy Chanukah, Happy Christmas, Joyous Kwanza, Happy Boxing Day, Happy Festivius, and Happy New Year! It's after Thanksgiving, we are full of turkey and shared our American holiday experiences and our favorite dishes. Of course, it wouldn't be the Outdated References podcast unless we argue about casseroles. After we overcame our turkey comas, we talk about the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and more Star Trek Prodigy spoiler talk.  Happy Holidays, we have one more show dropping before the end of the year so see you then! --Nathan

Adam shares more detail with the life improvement to the TMNT Cowabunga Collection.  This week we discuss Star Trek  Lower Decks & She-Hulk then Adam bails. That is when Russ and I compares the two fantasy shows, House of Dragons vs Rings of Power. We go over our favorite part of the What We Do in the Shadows finale, more Harley Quinn talks and what we are liking about the new season of Rick and Morty and our mutual hatred of Rick and Morty fans.  --Nathan Email
