The Waverider is back in Smallville where Lois is struggling with something from her past she never processed. When she and Jon investigate Irons' RV, a lot of old feelings from the past resurface. Meanwhile, Superman confronts Irons when an unexpected foe frees him from lockup and almost doesn't live to tell the tale. Jordan and Sara confront their fears together. The Waverider took a detour to Metropolis to check in on the Kent family. They are certainly put to the test this week! After Jordan narrowly escapes a confrontation with Tag, his powers go into overdrive and he's unable to control himself. He almost loses control after a football game and Johnathan steps in to prevent Jordan from killing his former bully. Instead, Johnathan ends up with a broken hand and a halted football career. Meanwhile, Lois tries to keep up with Luthor as they team up to find out why Edge is interested in the Smallville mines. Clark and Sam Lane end up at odds with one another when they disagree on how to handle Tag's escape. Welcome, Legendaires! We're back on the Waverider to discuss the premiere episode of season 6, Ground Control to Sara Lance. We pick up where we left off, a night of drunken fun in London 1977. Mick returns to the Waverider after dropping off his daughter to find it trashed. He finds Ava and together they piece together where to find the rest of the team. Nate is having a heart-to-heart with David Bowie, who shares that Sara was abducted by aliens. The Legends return to the Waverider with Bowie's super-8 footage and Ava finds out Sara was going to propose to her! Unfortunately, so does the entire team. Ava expertly plays the Legends until they do exactly what she knew they would do, leaving her and Nate to come up with a solid plan. Welcome to Smallville! Where nothing is quite as it seems. Preparations for Harvest Fest are in full swing and everyone is getting in the spirit. Everyone except Johnathan who gets dumped by his girlfriend before the festivities get started. On the upside, Sarah asks Jordan to go with her to the festival. When Sharon and Derek Powell turn up unexpectedly, Chrissy and Lois are definitely suspicious. And for good reason. As it turns out, Derek has been resurrected but it’s not taking. He can no longer control himself and burns down the building where the Harvest Fest donations are taken in. Meanwhile, Kyle comes home drunk after a fellow firefighter is injured in the line of duty. Lana storms off to the festival while Sarah stays home to make her father something to eat. After taking care of her father, she heads to the festival to meet Jordan. Welcome to Smallville! Nothing seems to go quite right this episode. Everything is a little haywire. Clark is spending some quality time with the family and Metropolis’ sky is eerily empty of the Man of Steel. So, Sam Lane decides to pay the Kent family a visit and stay for a while. He informs Clark that Killgrave is being transferred to another prison. When Killgrave inevitably escapes, General Lane calls Superman to the rescue. He monitors the city, but is unable to track down Killgrave who later turns up with a sonic weapon. Drawing strength from his kids in need, he defeats Killgrave and rescues Tag. Meanwhile, Lois is having trouble at work when Edge threatens to sue her if she publishes anything in the Gazette. She confronts him and threatens to countersue, but it’s unclear if this fixes the situation. Jonathan is worried about Tag Harris, who appears to be developing metahuman abilities after the explosion at the bonfire. Welcome to Smallville! We heard Lois is onto a big story in a small town. While Clark is spending some quality time with the family, a bridge collapsing in China forces him to speed off and save the day. As Clark explains to his sons how super hearing works, he conveniently omits the fact that he will check-in on them to make sure they are safe. After the boys catch him “spying” on them, they confront him and he promises never to listen to their conversations. After being bullied in school, Jordan joins the football team to put his bullies in their place, literally. While Johnathan remains skeptical, Jordan quickly becomes a favorite with the coach and makes amends with his former bullies. After Clark finds out Jordan joined the team, he decides to become an assistant coach to keep an eye on the boys. As it turns out, there is more to life in Smallville than puff pieces in the Gazette. After Lois attracts someone from New Carthage to expose Edge, her car is blown-up and she’s attacked in a New Carthage motel.

Welcome to Smallville! We heard the Kents packed up and left the big city to see what Morgan Edge has in store for Clark’s hometown. Clark and Jordan explore their heritage and learn more about Jordan’s powers. Jor-El seems to think they will amount to nothing, limited by his human DNA. Jonathan heads to school without his brother and struggles to fit in at the new school. The football team has it out for him after his brother kissed Sarah. Lois dives into her research on Morgan Edge and is surprised when he shows up at a town council meeting. She wastes no time and confronts him with the information she found, insisting he does not have Smallville’s best interests in mind. Captain Luthor is determined that Kal-El will turn into the Superman he knows from his planet. He found out General Lane is stockpiling Kryptonite, and he’s trying to convince him that Superman will turn to the dark side and destroy the planet.
