Tomorrow's Legends

The Waverider is docked at STAR Labs in Central City, but we might need to take a trip to Gotham City. It seems that Team Flash has learned from Lucas Fox that Ryan Wilder a.k.a. Batwoman has been missing for a few weeks. The tech that Red Death's Rogues are using are based off of Wayne Enerprise designs but is way more advanced. Barry thinks Red Death (named by Goldface), is the new Negative Speedforce Avatar. But he has no clue yet that Red Death is Ryan. Red Death's Rogues have been gathering parts for a Cosmic Treadmill, but they need one more to finish it. Barry & Hartley bring together The Hotness, Chill-Blaine, and Goldface to steal the quantum vibration engine first. All is going according to plan, until Mark betrays them. It seems Red Death promised him a way to bring back Frost and he fell for it. We got to see Barry & Iris checking off another item on their babymoon list and they had good communication as a couple, whereas Chuck and Allegra need help in that department. Khione confronts All

The team was divided about who to bring back, Caitlyn or Frost. But Barry realized that Caitlyn made her choice and Snow deserved the same right. To Mark's dismay, Snow chose to live and took on her dad's name for her, Khione, which is the name of the greek goddess of snow. But we are wondering if Khione has the ability to control the weather... The new Fiddler was sent by Red Death to take Hartley's gauntlets. With Barry & Snow's help, Hartley made the right decision and saved his boyfriend and the club employees. But Captain Boomerang and Fiddler got away with the gauntlets. Red Death was stabilized and is now ready to take out revenge on the Flash. The Waverider has landed in Central City. Our band of Hero Hosts are here to report on all we saw. The episode picks up right after the events of last year's season finale.  Barry & Iris have enjoyed some well needed time off and are about to head back to their jobs. But things are not well in the marriage. They are not talking and sharing their feelings. Barry has made a book of all of the informaiton he has learned about the future. He sees it as a roadmap to keep them on track and safe. But Iris sees it as shackels. She has no free will and no way to deviate.  The all new Captain Boomerang is stealing an energy device from a mobile particle accelerator. Thanks to his tech he is more than a match for Barry. He escapes and Barry blows it off. But something happened. Both Barry & Iris awake to find out the day is repeating. Barry is killed in the next encounter with Boomerang. It is with great sadness that we come to the series finale of Stargirl. True to the series, the action wrapped up early. The rest of the episode was split between the wrap of in the current day and an epilouge 10 years in the future. Ratings between our three hosts are split. Harley & xforce liked the finale, but Flash did not. But we had some great discussion and listener feedback. Icicle needed Starman's face and good public image to be the face of the new ISA plan. So Dragon King, Ultra-Humanite, and Icicle revive him and put his brain in a jar and then do the swap. Cameron lures Courtney and the JSA to Zeke's junkyard. We get a showdown between the Icicle family, the Ultra-Humanite Starman and the JSA. Things are not going to go well until S.T.R.I.P.E. & Pat show up. After a quick trip to the golden age of Hollywood, the Waverider is back in Blue Valley. This week was a wild ride! Jordan is still evil. Dragon King is back, but in the Ultra-Humanite's body. Plus Starman is still dead and Ultra-Humanite is in his body! All season long UH Starman has been dividing the JSA and setting them up for defeate. He has push everyone. He now has control over Cosmo and Sylvester's body. He loves acting and is caught up in the roll. We still don't know Icicle & Dragon King's full plans, but with a weaked & divided JSA things do not look good. The Waverider is hovering above Blue Valley. With Icicle back in town, Starman blowing up barns, and the Ultra-Humanite roaming aroung it seems safer up here. Jordan is back and the people love him, but our heroes are very unsure. Sylvester wants to kill him. Cameron is trying to broker peace between his dad and Courtney. But his killing of the Crocks has everyone on edge. This episode set things in motion for the last two eps. The Waverider is cloaked in the woods outside of Blue Valley since the Ultra-Humanite is running around. Last we heard of him he was chasing Mike, Jakeem, and Thunderbolt. Cindy was laying traps for him in hopes he could help her with her condition. Mike & Jakeem fill the JSA in on their adventure. Pat & Sylvester share how much of a threat Ultra-Humanite was to the JSA. Courtney says it will take the JSA, Crocks, and even the Mahkents to stop him. Pat & Sylvester have talked to the Granddad and heard about their past and how they need to leave. Gramcicle intimdates Barbara before Paula stops her. The Crocks stand up to the Grandcicles and propose a peace treaty. It looks like they accept. Artemis got into to Nebraska as QB and Crusher and Paula are estatic. But the joy is short lived. The watcher in the sewers lured them in. It seems that the watcher is a re-formed Icicle (as xforce11 called a few weeks ago). The Waverider made it back to Blue Valley just in time. Pat and Barbara reconnect and discuss how to help Mike in light of what Pat learned in the Shadowlands. Even Crusher is there to encourage Pat.  Courtney and Yolanda talk and they each appoligize to the other. Courtney wants her support in talking with the rest of the JSA. She wants to tell Cameron everything about his dad, the JSA and her secret. The rest of the JSA reluctlantly agrees. But Rick is having major issues thanks to him being Hourman 24/7. His rage is growing and they cannot stop him. The Grandcicles are at odds with eachother. Grandmother Mahkent is angry at Courtney and the JSA for killing her son. She lashes out at her husband, kills the art teacher Mr. Deisinger, and lashes out at Courtney. We have Wildcat verses Grandmother, Dr. Mid-Nite & Sportsmaster II verses Grandad, and Hourman verses Icicle Jr. It was an intense battle and only Grandad Mahkent's advice to Cameron and his heart attack stopped the fight. The Waverider is parked on the grounds of the Helix Institue. Courtney has to talk Mr. Bones and Nurse Love into allowing Jennie to help Todd out. They are so bent on separating people at the institute because of their powers. Her drive to connect and help people is what helped her form the JSA and with her help, Jennie & Todd balance each other out. In the Shadowlands, The Shade and Pat have to confront their past and the mistakes they made. We learn Mike's mom was on drugs and abandoned him. Pat is conflicted realizing that in trying to protect Mike from the past, he is making it worse. Will he make big changes in his relationship with Mike? We will see. Even The Shade has to change. He agrees to mentor Obsidian in his powers, help Jade find the new Sandman and more. We also learn that Mister Bones is not the man in the shadows in Blue Valley. We see him upset and smash a TV. The Waverider used its' time travel drive this week as we went into the past of Jennie and Todd. We saw the events of last season from Todd's point of view and learned of the trauma that happend as they were pulled apart as kids. It seems Jennie getting the ring on their birthday set both off them off with Jennie embracing the light to become Jade and the darkness overtaking Todd making him Obsidian. Mister Bones, Nurse Love and the Helix Institute lured him to their supposed safe place to learn his powers. Last season's battle with Eclipso infected the Green Lantern ring with darkness from the Shadowlands. It is hurting both Jade and The Shade. The Shade knows Courtney can help Jade expell the darkness. But it seems like rescuing her brother is the only way. They discover that Mister Bones has been using light therapy to hold back the darnkess. But it is too late. Pat and The Shade are thrown into the Shadowlands. In Blue Valley, the JSA disabled the power and are removing all of the cameras. But it has us w

Does The Betrayal refer to the JSA betraying Cindy by not trusting her? Does it refer to Cindy betraying Courtney's secret of training Cameron to the JSA? Or is it something else? We don't know but. this was a wild ride! Courtney is still not telling the truth to Cameron about her being Stargirl. However she is helping him refine his powers and gain control over them. But his grandparents are suspicious. Pat & Barbara are concerned that the grandparents will share Icicle's end by the JSA with Cameron. Starman is more level headed and even this week. He gives Courtney great advice and says he will stand up for her, after the JSA kicked her out. Mike and Jakeem are still trying to win Cindy over to their side. But even Zeek's advice will not help. Beth hacked The Gambler's laptop and discovered the hidden cameras all over the town. The person in the shadows is watching them all and putting together a puzzle of a skull.  To start this week off, we get a flashback that shows more of what happened the night the Gambler went down, and things are looking more suspicious for Cindy. We see her retracting her Shiv at the murder scene right before she hears the team coming, which hurries her to hide the laptop, and then the pains in her shoulder cause the gun to fire. Later we see her using the Gambler's own tech to hack his laptop. She digs into the files about her dad, the Dragon King, to locate more of his hidden labs, which she decides to go search to find more information about what could be happening to her. While she is away, Wildcat breaks into her house and locates the laptop under her bed, giving her proof to show the team. But even with all of this, Cindy can't be the murderer...can she? Courtney and Cameron are growing closer as she is helping him more and more. The JSA are upset with her and trying to warn her off. But Starman sticks up for her. It seems that Starman is taking Pat's advice to heart and trying to teach t

The Waverider is parked in Blue Valley. Dragon King is now the JSA's prime suspect in The Gambler's murder.  The episode was subtitled The Evidence. So let's brake it down. Sylvester was stabbed like The Gambler and Doctor Midnite's goggles find one stem cell that is like Dragon King's. Sylvester's attacker was very strong. In this episode we find out that Cosmo's engergy is being channeled through Sylvester. That is helping him heal and what brought him back from the grave. Courtney helps Cameron channel his emotions and love of art into his powers to help him control them. But she does not come clean about being Stargirl and about the true nature of his dad. Cindy is hurting and changing. She is becoming like her dad. The Waverider is hidden in Blue Valley. The JSA team is digging into the reasons for The Gambler's murder and we have tagged along. The episode was subtitled The Blackmail. The Crock family had been blackmailed by The Gambler for crimes they didn't committ. But it turns out he stopped 2 months before he died and even paid them back down to the penny. It seems he was trying to do better. Cindy is sending files from The Gambler's laptop to Beth's googles. But she doesn't like the decision to keep the information from Starman. So she tells him anyway. She was trying to impress him so both he and the JSA would accept her. But it backfired. Starman confronts the Sportsmaster & Tigress in the middle of the supermarket. The battle was amazing and wild. It was only stopped when Pat uses S.T.R.I.P.E. to end it. The Waverider has landed back in Blue Valley. We parked in the Cornhusker RV park and people thought it was a tornado! The Gambler was beaten and stabbed to death. He RV is trashed and his laptop is missing. The episode was subtitled The Suspects. The Crock family had no love for him thought he might ruin the lives they are trying to make. The Shade is happen in Blue Valley but not happy with The Gambler. Cindy was there when the JSA showed up and she has his laptop. Heck even Starman is upset he is in town.  But are these the only suspects? Mike and Jakeem make a Thunderbolt wish and find out the killer has many names. Starman and Pat start to question The Shade. Tigress tells Barbara that  the murder was too sloppy for them.  Pat tries to set Sylvester on a better path. But what really helps his him training Courtney in the Shooting Star technique with Cosmo We end the episode with a divided JSA. The Shade is leaving town. The Crocks are acting wierd. Cindy is making a formula in her dad's lab. Plus Rick is

The Waverider has landed back in Blue Valley. We've got a spring in our steps as we step off the ship and are humming "Coming to America." Summer is over and the Dugan-Whitmore clan is back from vacation and the Cosmic Crew is back too! Starman has repaired the house and make a place for him and Cosmo in the basement. There is tension building between Sylvester & Courtney. The Cosmo is tied to both and Sylvester says Courtney's connection to Cosmo brough him back from the dead. They end up deciding to share the Staff.  Tensions are high in the JSA since Stargirl has added Cindy/Shiv to the team. Plus Artemis is trying out for the team. Yolanda & Rick are not happy and there is major friction. Pat and Barbara are still getting used to having the Crocks as neighbors and not enemies. But having The Gambler return is a bit much for everyone. He seems to be wanting to make ammends and provide a life for his daughter. But someone is not happy with it and kills him. Cindy is holding the literal smoking gun.

Part 2:  The Waverider is in the temporal zone. From here, we can look at the past, present, and future. Flash and Harley have been covering the series for seven seasons and I, xforce11, have been leaving feedback. I have enjoyed helping host the last 2 seasons.
