Three Strikes and I’m Out of Here
04/11/2019 Duración: 36minThis is a story of sorts. Please note that it includes some family violence and strong language. If you are not okay with hearing this difficult sample of reality, I suggest you skip this episode of the podcast. If you are alright with that and with the caution in mind, press play and let’s set the framework and then meet the people who live through the storm.

Hauntings, Witches and Aliens
31/10/2019 Duración: 15minThe Aliens Amongst Us are back. Once again, they have highjacked the Audio Tidbits broadcast channel. They have convened to consider whether their Leader in the Capital City should remain in place or be withdrawn back to the Home Planet. This is apparently not a totally popular idea since others on the Aliens’ Home Planet are protesting. About 12 minutes into their broadcast, their transmission is abruptly terminated by the skilled work of the crack Tidbits engineers. The broadcast feed is returned to the full control of the Tidbit staff. They are able to fill the feed with a special Halloween tune from Brett Van Donsel. Please enjoy.

The staff and management of Audio Tidbits disclaim all liability for your sanity. You are joining a movie of your mind. Clear your mind of all reality and let the movie begin. You are entering the haunted world, the world of Halloween and monsters. Good Luck. – If you have to bail before the end, I can only note that even the strongest ‘weeners have bailed before you.

Who’s Pouting At Your Home?
25/10/2019 Duración: 23minAlong with a good measure of Kevin's lively music, our favorite chipmunk has once again upstaged me to produce this episode of Audio Tidbits. Chippy has included four tips for relating to and managing children and especially pouting teens. We hear about pouting, self-esteem, tantrums and signs of stress. Although focus is on children, Chippy reminds that the points also apply to adults who are themselves acting childishly. Let's listen and learn.

5 Secret Steps to Personal Charm
20/10/2019 Duración: 21minIn this episode of Audio Tidbits, our favorite chipmunk has hijacked the podcast to share 5 secret steps to personal charm. I must admit that the first tip is obvious, but the last four caused me to stop and ponder what the point has to do with charm. Kevin's music helped, giving me time to work it out. They all 5 really are steps to personal charm. I guess my needing to think about them just goes to show me that they are secrets. Give it a try and see if you come to the same conclusion. I think you will.

An Unexpected Conclusion + Women in Leadership
15/10/2019 Duración: 20minAlong with Kevin's fine tunes, this episode includes a personal essay that unearths an unexpected conclusion. I won't include a spoiler here so you can see for yourself how it evolved. That is followed by some important points on women in leadership. Women in leadership positions seem to naturally manage some aspects of their positions better than do men in similar positions. Skilled men often do as well with these aspects as skilled women, but in general, women do better. In this episode of Audio Tidbits, we take a look at the aspects of skilled leadership where women tend to shine.

Getting It Right Can Be Hard
13/10/2019 Duración: 20minI could make excuses or maybe even point a finger, but That would all be wrong. Let me just report how the podcasting team helped get it right. Here's their revised intro. Hello Tidbiters. If you are a regular listener, I know that you were expecting Gary to get things started. If this is your first visit, I usually don’t kick things off. I’m here to get things straightened out for Gary. He is fairly new at this lead podcaster role and didn’t get it quite right this time. He has included three of Kevin’s songs and two tips that you will find very helpful as you make a difference to folks who make a difference to you. That all went well, but the intro and a couple of the transitions didn’t go so well for Gary. No worry though. Others on the podcasting team have jumped in to get it right for you. Please relax and enjoy. I think you will see what we have done for you. As Gary likes to say, do well, be well and here we go.

I Can’t Control the Winds, but I Can Adjust the Sails
09/10/2019 Duración: 24minThis episode of Audio Tidbits focuses on philosophy and perspective. Of course, it includes a good measure of Kevin’s music, with the tips and perspectives interspersed. We all have our perspective that is not quite like that of anyone else. That perspective shapes our philosophy, how we view the world and how we think it works or doesn’t work for us. I think you will enjoy the music, the perspectives, and a chance to relax as you consider how things work for you.

Getting It Right
08/10/2019 Duración: 20minGetting it right isn’t easy but is one of those things that just has to be done. Getting it wrong is a lot easier but means that you never get it right. In this episode of Audio Tidbits, there are three tips for getting it right. You may be surprised to find out just what it takes to choose “right,” to keep it between the lines. While you consider your choices, there are also three tunes that will relax and put you in the state of mind to make the best choice for you.

The News Makes Us Worry – The News Makes Us Happy
05/10/2019 Duración: 09minIf you follow the “news,” – as do I – there is a lot more to worry about than to be happy about. Let’s first do our worrying. Here are ten things we might want to put on our worry list. 1. Whether or not the President, Vice President, Secretary of State, Attorney General and most everyone heading the executive branch of our Federal government are serving the public interest or simply self-dealing and using their positions to further themselves and their financial backers. 2. Whether global warming is a real and present danger, proceeding unchecked on a course to cause permanent and irreversible harm to the home planet, or if the potential risk is being wildly exaggerated. 3. Whether the economy is basically sound and unlikely to faulter, or if recession and difficult times are just around the corner. 4. Whether immigration is good and adds to the fullness and richness of our culture and economy, or if it is dangerous and threatens our safety and livelihoods. 5. Whether our schools and colleges are succes

When Leaders Do What Leaders Have To Do
15/09/2019 Duración: 11minLeaders have many responsibilities, but there is one responsibility that shapes everything else. That is how they use the power and control that comes with leadership. This in turn relates to many areas of responsibility, but none is as important as decision making. In this episode of Audio Tidbits, I explore leadership and decision making. Included here are levels of decision making. Within this range, there is what we may think of as the decision-making bottom line. That is the decision that few expected and even fewer think is the right decision. How do skilled leaders handle the decision-making bottom line? That is where our discussion leads. Please join me on the journey.

Leaders Are Proactive not Reactive … Here’s How
14/09/2019 Duración: 08minSkilled leaders deal with many types of people and situations every day. They know that they can't just react to those people and events. That would be letting those people and those events call the shots, determine the game. That is what skilled leaders always try to avoid. They want to call the shots, want to lead. What is the alternative? Skilled leaders are proactive. In this episode of Audio Tidbits, I share some examples of what it means to be a proactive leader.
