On the 30th of January it was announced the Rino has had his contracted terminated, primarily for 2 reasons: since 2015 he had been in contacted with other labels in regards to musical activities and he had been in private contact with the bands’ fans, asking them for money. The band was due for a comeback with bassist Shiori after his fight with malignant lymphoma on the 4th of May this year. Unfortunately it looks like it will only go ahead with the 4 remaining members. It's been recently announced that Kpop boy group Lunafly will be heading to Brisbane for a showcase in October. This is the first time that such a group will be heading to the Queensland capital city following on from their first taste of Kpop with Eric Nam who performed for adoring fans in 2014. Yes its finally come. Asian Pop Radio will be resting our weekly one our show in which we have now presented for 120 weeks! We're giving way for a little break from producing traditional radio and freeing up more time for crazy stuff on our YouTube and podcast channels. I thank you for your continued support of our project and while I am at it, I thank each individual volunteer member of Asian Pop Radio who contribute so much on a regular basis. This is our final 1 hour episode, for now.

It's not you, it's us. lol. No, we're not breaking up! We've decided that a break is on the cards so we can sit back, relax and take it easy for a bit. APR is produced by a handful of dedicated volunteers who provide content and support every week on top of already busy studying and work schedules. For this reason we are resting our 1 hour radio show after next weeks 1 hour show, which will be our 120th episode. But we're not going too far, we'll be working hard to share quality content on our social media pages and creating more regular video content on YouTube. We're also set to launch asianpopradio.com so keep an eye out for it.
