Great morning to each of you!  Big day today......we focus on Habit #1 - Be Proactive (You are in charge of you), we discuss our monthly fire drill, we celebrate those who signed up for the Delphi Public Library Reading Program (yep, Shidler is getting slimed), we celebrate a positive office referral, and we discuss briefly our WIGS - our Wildly Important Goals - 80% of all students hitting their targeted growth on Ready Diagnostic.  Together, with a plan, WE can do this!  Have a super day and an amazing weekend!

Great morning all!  Thanks for tuning in!  Several important announcements - pay close attention to the reminder about an hour delay on Wednesdays all year to allow our staff much needed PD. I know it sounds counterproductive, but if everyone saw the ton of things that keep getting pushed down to the local schools, you would be amazed - I promise.  We will use our 'extra' time on top of other moments during the week to take action steps to support our learning communities.  Thank you all!

Welcome back all - here are the DCES announcements for 8/12/21.  Check us out!

Just Mr. Shidler reaching out to our HUGE audience - we are heard worldwide!  Thanks for listening. I was just wanting to share a few thoughts with our students/parents/guardians, etc.  Looking forward to seeing everyone next week!  Get into those 'school' routines w/ bedtime, write a letter to someone, deliver that letter, practice some math facts while driving, enjoy these last moments of the summer, (re)discover that love of reading!

This is it.  Thanks for sticking with me/us all year - it has been a year for the books.  Several announcements shared, May birthdays, and more.  Summer school begins Tuesday for those involved.  Have a super summer - read those books, learn those math facts, get outside, build a fort, write a letter, make memories.  See you in August! 5th Grade Awards begins @ 11:00 a.m. - park in the bus parking behind the school, enter into the gym doors.  

It is last day of school eve!  Tomorrow is the last day folks for the 2020-21 school year.  We have no birthdays, but we do discuss some interesting history facts, discuss our cookout (hold out rain), share information about the 5th grade walk, and more about the 5th grade awards program.  Looking forward to a strong two days! #Summerisalmosthere
