Hello to each of you!  We are to the middle of the week.........our word of the week is heart.  Also, we share some announcements and recognize the winning grade of the recent food drive - the 2nd grade!  They will be treated to a pizza party tomorrow!  Kudos to the entire school.  From a rep associated with this food drive 'This is the best food drive we have ever had!'  Thank you for your contributions!

Welcome to Wednesday!  Our word of the week - body.  We talk about several key announcements for the school - Food Drive, Today in History, Library books due today, and the BIG PBIS Store, The Oracle Express, is officially shut down TOMORROW - be sure to get that order in from that store in time!  Have a super day each and every one of you!

Welcome back everyone!  Our word of the week - body.  Why would body be a word of the week when we talk about personal bests, estabslishing goals, etc.?  Our 'Independence from Hunger' food drive is this week.  Our student leadership team is partnering with St. Elizabeth Healthcare - which grade will bring in the most food to support local families?  Also, we do some 'Today in History', make announcements about when library books are due (Wed), and more.  Have a super day - everyone!

Good morning everyone - we have reached the end of the week.  Thanks for all you do.  Thanks to all our staff as we worked to celebrate and honor all staff during Staff Appreciation Week.  So much going on today and the remaining days of school - reminder, the last day of school for students is May 27th.  

Good morning everyone!  Special shout outs to many staff members at DCES as part of our support all week of ALL staff members - thank you!  A special recognition for Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Allen as our nurses during a pandemic - thank you for all you do.  You are so appreciated!  Also, we talk a little about PBIS and redeeming the prizes from The Oracle Express.  Food Drive next week led in partnership with our student leadership teams and St. Elizabeth Healthcare - can you do your part by bringing something in?  Also, our Student Lighthouse Team meets today.  Have a super day!

Welcome back everyone!  So glad to see everyone as we settle into our last month of school (less than 30 days).  We discuss our term of the week - balance, celebrate some birthdays, discuss upcoming events, and do some history trivia.  Enjoy the beautiful moments today and all this week.  

Say what?  Friday already?  Can you believe we had snow earlier this week and it should reach 70/80 degrees in a couple days?  Gotta love Indiana, right?  Today, we celebrate more birthdays - both students and a staff member.  We also celebrate our efforts on ILearn, do some 'Today in History', discuss midterm 4 about to happen, and discuss my own goals.  Have a super day - EVERYONE!
