Good morning everyone!  I placed my liner in my winter coat - it is cold out there!  Discussed Big Rocks and what that might mean to each of us.  Also, discussed Today in History in 1773.  Discussed a change in scheduling for grades 1, 3, 4, & 5 for today.  Also, Elsa is up to no good AGAIN!  I can't believe this elf!  Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone.  Our phrase/words of the week - Big Rocks.  I share some of the 'big rocks' I encountered when growing up - we all have them.  Also, we did a little today in history and shared some exciting news for 1, 3, 4, and 5th grade students.  Also, can you believe Elsa was spotted again!  Incredible.  However, my day started interesting and the image is on my PC and I can't access it at this moment.......technology.  Anyway, I will try to share with all of you if I can.  

Great morning people!  Hope everyone is doing well.  We discuss the phrase/words - Big Rocks.  What big rocks do you have in your life?  What is something you want to accomplish, achieve?  Also, reminder that NEHS is meeting today during 5th grade lunch/recess in Mr. Conner's room.  Yes, it happened again - Elsa was caught over the weekend.  Check out the security footage from the latest.  I think some of the evidence might still be in the area too.  However, I couldn't find her upon entering the school.  Have a super day all of you!

Good morning all!  Wishing everyone a remarkable Friday and a great weekend!  We have another week of school before a much-needed break!  I do want to continue to thank all our staff and families - you have been remarkable.  I got another security alert that something was moving in the foyer of the school last night - see if you can see who it was.  Also, we celebrate several student birthdays AND Indiana is another year wiser.  Also, pointed out that NEHS members are meeting Monday during lunch in Mr. Conner's room.  Have a great day for yourself and others.

Great morning all!  Hope you are good.  I have BIG news!  We spotted Elsa.  However, not in the traditional way.  I shared the surveillance camera picture with teachers so they can share with their classes - However, upon arrival, we do NOT see Elsa.  Anyway, we celebrate a birthday, do some 'Today in History', and celebrate the accomplishments of Braxton!   Have a great day all!

Darn it - I forgot to mention Happy Anniversary to my parents......anyway, happy anniversary!  We further discuss our word of the week, discuss the power of The Hour of Code, share some 'On This Day in History', and reemphasize the need to wear masks when needed, wash hands, etc.  We are doubling down so we can stay in school:)  Have a great day everyone!

Welcome back!  Excited about these next two weeks.  Today, we double-down on making sure we are doing all we can within our school to remain safe so we can be open and LEARN!  Also, our word of the week is discussed - discipline.  How are you 'disciplined' in your every day activities?  We discuss several significant 'Today in History' events, discuss Hour of Code, and share some new student leadership positions announced within our school.  Also, so exciting, we are working to assemble our first Student Lighthouse Team!  This is part of our The Leader in Me program and helps to evolve us as a school/learning community.  Have a great day everyone!

Great morning all!  Just announced new leadership positions within our school - for PLTW assistants, robotics coordinator, and courtyard assistants.  Today is the last day for Jar Wars, tomorrow (Friday) is VIRTUAL LEARNING for DCSC.  Also, we get our picture retakes done today.  Have a super day and please reach out if you have questions about tomorrow - our teachers (and myself) want to help where we can.  Thank you!

Hello everyone!  Our word of the week is integrity.  Do you do the right thing when no one is looking?  Such a strong word.  We discussed a couple of historical events that occurred on Nov. 30th.  Also, students will continue to contribute to our mural that is taking shape.  Jar Wars will run this week (regardless and then done).  Also, picture retakes is Thursday at DCES.  Looking forward to an amazing day!
