Its our last week away (PROMISE), so what better way to prepare for John Woo's Face/Off, than with John Woo's BROKEN ARROW!! This one has always been a movie of contention with us, as Terry never rated it, whereas Andy ranks it very high indeed. So we are going all the way back to 1996, with John Woo's Broken Arrow. Its a new series!! The first installment of Whats So Great About Nick Cage!  First up is the zany madcap cartoonish Raising Arizona! Some trademark strong opinions on this one as always, as we break down what we liked, and what we did not! We also talk about Ricky Gervais' new Netflix special, and what a great movie Jurassic Park is. Enjoy!

First off, APOLOGIES for the delay, it was another late Sunday record.  We are back in the off season discussing Spanish sci fi (ish) horror (ish) movie, the Platform, on Netflix. It takes place in a vertical prison, a platform of food gets lowered from the top, only stopping for 2 mins per day to feed, with each level getting only the leftovers from the previous ones. Great concept! We discuss the movie, what we liked, and we chat about how WE would react as cell-mates in this place. We also discuss the Champions League final, and Terry went to see Everything Everywhere All at Once and he is now a changed man. Enjoy!

Its the OFF-SEASON! And first up is a continuation of our MCU series, with Spider-Man - No Way Home! We chat about the story, the CGI, how it compares with the others, and Willem Defoe?? You bet!  We also chat about the last day of the footy season, Terry's new radio gig and Andy going viral on Tiktok. Enjoy!

Its the finale! We're talking about possibly the MOST Wes Anderson movie yet, the French Dispatch.  We're going out HOT with some strong opinions on this one. Such as best needledrop, best scene, best performance, movie that gave us the most FEELS, best soundtrack, and most aesthetically pleasing movie.
