Episode 33: The Fly (1986)
03/12/2018 Duración: 49minIllnesses and technical difficulties aside, Postmortem Paul has finally returned to What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero! November was a horrible month, but it's now in the past and now is time to get back on the track. So this week, the elusive Episode 33 is finally coming your way. This week's feature presentation: David Cronenberg's "The Fly", from 1986. Also this week, PM Paul brings to you a quick (and belated) collection of thoughts regarding the passing and legacy of Stan Lee, and a quick synopsis and review on the Shudder Thanksgiving special "Dinners of Death" with Joe Bob Briggs. Along with a Lurker's Recommendation and Paul's opinions of shoppers during the holiday season, this week's episode is a "shaking of the cobwebs" as What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero gets back to doing what it does worst; podcasting. 28/10/2018 Duración: 01h12minHappy Halloween Lurkers! This week brings All Hallows Eve in a Podcast Zero kind of way with a double review of both, Halloween from 1978, and Halloween of 2018. Focusing more on the 2018 release of Halloween, Paul very honestly gives his opinion on the latest horror hit, but makes sure to spend a little time reflecting on the original film from 1978 as well. Also this week, Postmortem Paul gives his thoughts on the latest Netflix addition of Castlevania Season Two (no spoilers), and he spruces things up with a trivia game of sorts for his listeners to play along to, with questions coming from the horror trivia game known as Dark Lore. In an episode that is very much unscripted, listeners will get to hear Paul just shoot the breeze as he would if he was hanging out with his circle of ghouls. So, it's time...it's time...it's time to put on those masks and get ready to celebrate the first ever Halloween with that low budget horror host from the Great White North. It's time to kill some time with

30/09/2018 Duración: 01h03minWelcome back Lurkers! This week's episode is a bit different from past episodes. Night of the Living Dead from 1968, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974 were both released on October 1st of their respective years. Episode 27: The Brain That Wouldn’t Die (1962)
23/09/2018 Duración: 01h13minAn operating room is no place to experiment And a podcast such as this is no place for taking anything seriously. That is why this week on What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero, Paul has fun cutting apart the 1962 cinematic tale of terror about one doctor's mad obsession. The ghastly, ghoulish story known as THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE is this week's featured main attraction. In addition, other topics on the operating table include the recent reveal of the "new look" Chucky from MGM's forthcoming remake, some "dollar store" discoveries and a Lurker's Recommendation for some full-on, enjoyable "Cage rage" excess. There's also a time warp track, as the episode closes out with a live track from The Sugarcubes. It's an "interesting" episode this week, so get ready to lose your heads with Paul as he pretends to know what he's doing on this week's installment of slicing and dicing, to discover what's lurking behind the mad doctor's closet.

17/09/2018 Duración: 01h06minIä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn! Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn! By the Order of Dagon you have been selected to be sacrificed to the God of the Deep Ones. Your flesh and soul will suffer as a gift to the great one, and your ears....well, they get to suffer through this week's episode of the Next Level Network Production of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. This week, Paul takes you on a trip to Imboca where things get a little fishy as he breaks down his passion for the 2001 Stuart Gordon film, DAGON. Also this week, Paul talks about the second Halloween trailer, the Castle Rock season finale and the internet's hate towards it, and his Lurker's Recommendation of a brand new Shudder exclusive. It's far from being a Lovecraftian masterpiece, but it's the episode we get this week. But really, it's not that bad. It could be worse. You could be skinned alive and given to a big scaly god from the depths of the waters. On second thought, yeah, the episode is worse. But who cares? Laughs aside, hope

Episode 21: Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)
05/08/2018 Duración: 01h05minWelcome Lurkers to beautiful New York, New York where this week we talk about an overgrown mama's boy and his trip to the Big Apple. Or, well, 25 minutes worth of it anyway (psst, the majority of this story is on a boat). But seriously, welcome back to another episode of the Next Level Network production of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. On the agenda this week, Castle Rock, novels inspired by the 80s series "V", Elvira, Buffy and bad movies. Also, Paul has a 30 second soap box moment about Howard the Duck, promotes his social media accounts and ends the show on the "darkest side of the night". All this, and of course, a rundown about the movie of the week: FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VIII: JASON TAKES MANHATTAN. So get ready to party on a boat, and head to British Columbia, err, I mean, the city that never sleeps with the podcast so bad it should be named trash. Haha! It's this week's WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO. Viewer discretion is advised.

Episode 19: DOOM (2005)
08/07/2018 Duración: 01h14minThis week's episode is a listener request from Jacob Allan for the 2005 movie DOOM, starring Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, Richard Brake and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Also, a Lurker's Recommendation and the reveal of the next episode, err umm, atrocity to be unleashed upon the listener base of this "horror-ble" Next Level Production. All this, and a little bit more as this week's episode is "coming down", right here on WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO. Run for your lives now!

Episode 18: Silent Hill (2006)
27/06/2018 Duración: 01h10minBetter late than never. Paul finally stops scrapping the recordings of the episode and releases this week's splurge into the podcast world; SILENT HILL, from 2006. As well this week, you'll hear Paul explain how his need to control his anger factored into the delay of this episode. He also discusses about possible changes and growth that could come to the show, as well as talking about some of the other recent films he's taken in recently. A Lurker's Recommendation, and a whole slew of side tangents also make their way into this week's hour plus of noise pollution. It's nothing less than what you'd expect from the obnoxious, foul mouthed cretin host of this podcast, the Next Level Network Production of WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO. You've been warned.

Episode 16: Dario Argento’s Suspiria (1977)
31/05/2018 Duración: 01h31minThis week, Paul contends with the heat, and lack of sleep to bring you this love letter to one of his favourite films, Dario Argento's Suspiria. From everything to Solo: A Star Wars Story to the Italian classic film to Jamie Foxx being cast as Spawn in the upcoming Blumhouse Production, it's a blabberfest of rantings and admiration this week. Including a Lurker's Recommendation and a shout out to another horror podcast that was awesome to shout out What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero earlier this week, it's 90 minutes of Paul being as annoying as he can be. So hopefully you will all enjoy listening to a sleep deprived maniac express his thoughts on several topics this week on the 16th episode of the Next Level Network Production of WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO. Thank you for listening, and please share and/or review this podcast (if you want to, but you don't have to).*This has since been listed as my least favourite episode of the show, but I leave it up for anyone interested in checking it

This week, Paul talks about a teen-age favourite of his; the 1991 direct to video low budget B-movie known as THE BONEYARD, a film directed by James Cummins. First though, Paul takes about 15-20 minutes to reflect back on nearly two years of podcasting on The Bats, Bows n' Books Podcast, his other project that is coming to a close this coming June. Because of the "triple B podcast", Paul learned many things about podcasting, but more so, he made a lot of great new friends and acquaintances. So before closing the curtain on The Bats, Bows n' Books Podcast for good, Paul takes a bit of time out to shar

And this week, your host, Paul Williams, is joined by one half of DC Prime Time and the host of The Showcast Showcase Spotlight, none other than Ben Beck. The terrible twosome will sit down and have a "quiet" conversation about the latest project from John Krasinski, 2018's A QUIET PLACE. Prior to, Paul opens the show up with his opinions on three stories from the latest horror headlines, but the real meat of the show then follows from the conversation had between Paul and Ben. So whatever you do, don't make a sound because if they hear you, you're as good as....well nothing really. This is a recorded show. The hosts can't do anything. So whatever. Just go listen to the show already! Oh and, Paul apologizes for the sound quality of his microphone. He was using a new program and had his volume set a tad bit hi
