Episode 56: House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
24/09/2019 Duración: 01h21minDue to recent news, this week's episode of Demon Knight has been pushed back to bring you the following episode. This week, Postmortem Paul reviews the 2003 directorial debut of Rob Zombie, and the introduction of the Firefly Family in HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES. Along with music recommendations for Halloween music - Sam Haynes' Haunt of Horror and Isserley, and thoughts on the indie movie Clownado, it's Studio Zero's pleasure to welcome you back to What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero, part of the Next Level Network of Podcasts. Episode 55: The Wraith (1986)
10/09/2019 Duración: 01h23minAs per this week's listener request, Postmortem Paul will go racing back in time to 1986, to a time when Charlie Sheen was just starting out as an actor. It was a time when movies were goofy and fun, a time before the internet and a time when the cops let the bullies do whatever they wanted to anyone they wanted. This week's feature presentation is the 80's version of the Fast and the Furious...ghost style; THE WRAITH. Also this week, Paul gives his non-spoilery thoughts on the Dark Crystal series from Netflix, as well as giving a recommendation for going back into the woods of Burkittsville, relatively speaking. The show starts off with Paul ranting (again), and ends with Tim Feehan asking "where's the fire". It's a crazy ride on the wild side you don't want to miss. Or maybe it's a crash n' burn. The only way to find out is to tune into this week's episode of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. It's part of your "constipational" rights!

Episode 54: Lake Mungo (2008)
03/09/2019 Duración: 01h07minDo you believe in ghosts? Do you think you know all there is to know about someone before they pass away? These are two questions this week's movie at hand asks with some very haunting answers. This week, Postmortem Paul takes you on a trip to the land down under as he reviews the 2008 Australian "mock-umentary", LAKE MUNGO. Also packed into this week's supernatural episode, a brief moment of appreciation for the new TOOL album, Fear Inoculum, and a recommendation for a Sam Raimi/Bruce Campbell flick that isn't The Evil Dead. So I hope you're ready for another spin around the graveyard as Postmortem Paul proves that "dead is the new alive" in this week's episode of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. And no, you can't move Halloween to the last Saturday of October. Thank you and good day.

Episode 53: Pet Sematary (1989)
27/08/2019 Duración: 01h28minSometimes, dead is bettah! Yes, that should read "better", but for the purposes of this week's episode, it's "bettah". Because yes, this week Postmortem Paul finally digs up a classic 'Mary Lambert directed film', based on a novel by the master of the macabre himself, Stephen King. This week sees What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero reviewing the 1989 classic original, PET SEMATARY. Also this week, Paul chimes in his two cents about the whole Spider-man debacle and offers a Lurker's Recommendation for a wonderful 2014 Canadian horror documentary, topped off with some VHS talk and some Ramones. But enough description! It's now time to go play with Jud, Gage, Church and the rest of the gang as Podcast Zero raises the dead at the Pet Sematary. Unnecessary remakes and improper spelling explained within.

Episode 49: The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976)
23/07/2019 Duración: 01h05minThis week's episode features a review of a listener request for the movie THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, starring David Bowie, Candy Clark and Rip Torn. But before reviewing the Nicolas Roeg directed 1976 science fiction film, Postmortem Paul rattles off some of the highlights from SDCC 2019 that caught his attention, followed by a 5-10 minute spoiler-light review of the third season for the Netflix extravaganza, STRANGER THINGS. Paul also gives a recommendation for an animated horror flick definitely worth a viewing. Episode 48: Starcrash (1979)
02/07/2019 Duración: 01h10minFrom a vast and distant galaxy...a podcast adventure like no other! Three years of podcasting and Postmortem Paul keeps bringing the heat. Well, heat, yes. But what kind of heat is the real question. Is it the kind that makes you hot for more, or is it that steaming pile of "you know what" kind of heat? Meh, it matters not. However, what does matter is that the 48th episode is here, and this week's focus is on the stars. A galactic adventure beyond your wildest dreams! Star Wars meets Barbarella in the ultimate intergalactic adventure!! From 1979, the Lewis Coates cult classic, STARCRASH! Also this week, Paul reflects on the past three years he's been broadcasting in the internet podcast biz, as well as revealing the newest addition to his family (which coincidentally adds more meaning to the name Podcast Zero). So strap yourself in and get ready to cruise into hyperspace with your favourite mock 'n schlock podcast! No spacesuits required! It's all downhill from here folks

Episode 47: The Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
18/06/2019 Duración: 01h08minIt's alive IT'S ALIVE! The podcast is alive...and going back in time to a simpler time, a better time, a monster of a time. 'PostMortem' Paul is going to take you all back to a time where the real monsters were the people, and the ones labeled as monsters were actually the gentle-hearted. Oh, umm, that doesn't sound right. That sounds like....today. It must be due to the fact that this week's review is about a movie with a timeless story, a classic movie directed by James Whale and produced by Carl Laemmle, Jr. This week, the show visits Boris Karloff and Elsa Lanchester in the 1935 gothic horror story of THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN. As well, Paul starts the show off explaining why we don't need another remake of Black Christmas and recommends a movie on Shudder that is anything but a "bore". So get ready to be 'jolted' by this week's episode of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. Have an 'electrifying' week everyone!

Episode 45: Midnight Movie (2008)
04/06/2019 Duración: 01h23minFor this week's episode, Postmortem Paul wants you to know three things. 1. Keep them out of the sunlight, it'll kill them. 2. Don't get them wet. 3. Don't feed them.........oh wait! Wrong movie! This movie, you only need to watch it after midnight. Hence why the movie is called MIDNIGHT MOVIE, from 2008. Yes this week, Paul will go back to 2008 to discuss the film festival award winning slasher flick, starring Rebekah Brandes (Nothing Left to Fear) and Daniel Bonjour (iZombie) and directed by Jack Messitt. Episode 41: Ghost in the Shell (1995, 2017)
23/04/2019 Duración: 01h23minThis episode, your scatterbrain host, Postmortem Paul, goes cyberpunk with his painfully excruciating breakdown of, both the 1995 anime and 2017 live action adaptation of, GHOST IN THE SHELL. Comparisons, highlights, and down points are sporadically brought to the foreground through Postmortem's basket-case rantings and ravings, in this one hour and twenty three minute "scratching of nails on a chalkboard". An episode showcasing a property that questions ideas like existence and reality will have you questioning your own existence as you wonder why you're still listening. Well, maybe it's not that bad. Or is it? You be the judge as you take in this week's episode of WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO. It has a voice, now it just needs a body.
