Since we covered the toxic representation of Black love in movies/TV shows the last episode, it's only right that we end the month of February on a positive note. On this week's episode, we highlight some examples of Black love depicted in everything from classic 90s sitcoms to family-friendly comedies and heavy ass dramas. There's a bit of something for everyone. While not perfect, we pose the question ...if you could create your OWN movie/show script featuring Black love, what would that look like?? It’s still the month of LOVVEEE! Who didn’t love to watch a good rom-com or love drama? We decided to take some time to revisit our favourite classic films and tv series that represent Black Love and noticed something different this time…they are sooo toxic! We decided to break down these down and to share our thoughts on REAL and HEALTHY black love and why Hollywood portrays black love with such toxicity.

Why don't we start off this month of LOVEEE with a little dash of positivity? On this week's episode, we go over what green flags may look like both during courting and in a relationship. On this week's episode, we had the pleasure of interviewing Yasin, the president and co-founder of Rootworks - a non profit organization that aims to provide communities in Somalia & Ethiopia with permanent access to clean drinking water.
