Habby Hour!

The All Star Break begins and the Habs find themselves in a playoff spot!  We go over the last two games since the previous episode, notably against Philly and Arizona, and aside from that?  We had a whole lot to say about Poile!  The All Star Game!  Bettmen!  And so much more!  And, if you follow us on Twitter you know that Veronica kinda blew our MINDS with what she said at the end of the episode!  January 25th, 2019.

We're back with another post game episode! For this we go over the games against the Blues, the Avs, the Broons, the Panthers and the Blue Jackets! 2019 started a little weird for the Habs but it looks like they're taking the playoff push pretty seriously. We talk about this, Paul Byron's suspension, our Sweet Baby Eagle, Carey Price and so much more! Dave loses his temper about the NHL Player Safety people! January 18th, 2019.

We're back with a Wednesday night episode and only two games to talk about! The tilts against the dreaded Wild and the Red Wings! One game went much better than the other, but even if one game was harder, there were pretty good reasons as to why. We talk about that, Shea Weber, Joel Armia, Shea Weber, FINALLY give due diligence to the World Junior Championships and Beth and Dave have a bit of an announcement! Find out what in this episode! The first episode of 2019! This one was a free wheeling episode that focused, primarily, on the performance that the Habs put up against the Predators the night of the recording. Which, of course, eventually leads to the discussion of PK Subban. From there, we wheel ourselves around the latest Habs news of the week, a sprinkle of the World Juniors, and even a shout out to a recently departed yet well loved Hab! Unfortunately, we also had some somber news to share in regards to the Habby Hour. Nothing too bad, we promise! January 5th, 2019.

We are back! The delay was all Dave's fault, of course, since he was in Vegas and did he EVER have a story to share with everyone! We also talk about the game against Panthers, a bit about the World Juniors where the Habs are WELL represented, and of course the birth of the CHILD. And who's child? Can, you, BELIEVE IT??? Tune in as the gang (minus one!) talk about the call heard around the league! We have seen our fair share of bad calls in the NHL this season, and in other seasons, but we were pretty sure that this one, tonight, was perhaps the worst! Aside from that, we talked about the four tilts that the Habs had this week, as well as yet another waiver wire player, and the team's special trip to see some brave children! December 15th, 2018.

What a week! The return of Shea Weber and Paul Byron has been paying dividends on both ends of the ice, especially given the results in the past 4 games. The Drouin-Domi partnership seems to be blossoming very well, Price is looking like the Price we all know, and there is a new addition to the Habs family! Have a listen to this, and more! Did you hear? Shea Weber is back! And, not only that but another Hab may be coming back into the lineup this weekend! We also talk about the most recent game against Carolina, how the power play is doing (yikes!), some prospect talk, and quite a bit about the AHL since there has been some movement between the big club and the farm. Bit of a rough week for our beloved Habs! The injury bug is starting to take its toll and the team has been looking to the reserves to try and fill in roster spots. This week we talk about the games against the Canucks, Capitals, Devils, and the Sabres. We also go on, maybe, too long a tangent about field trip songs and what, exactly, Dave and his mother listened to on their way to night skiing! November 23rd, 2018.

And we're back! It's been two weeks since we recorded an episode, but everyone was able to figure out a night and now we are back on track! We do our best to comb over the Habs news of the past week which include Veronica and Dave's night in Montreal, the retirement of Plekanec, Schlemko coming back into the lineup, the injury to Armia, and of course, the pending return of our captain, Shea Weber. The first month of Habs hockey is under our belt, and wouldn't you say that we're doing a bit better now? The hosts talk about this week's past games against the Bruins, Stars, and the Stanley Cup Champs the Caps, with quite a bit of emphasis on the Caps game, for some reason! We also put a good deal of time into Max Domi's emergence, and also, our beloved Sweet Baby Eagle! November 2nd, 2018.

Well, that was a tough loss! But, it's okay! And this episode does its best to explain why! Aside from this game, the Habby Hour crew give a ton of love to Max Domi, and of course, our beloved Eagle, Jesperi Kotkaniemi! Aside from that, we vent our frustrations about the officiating in the NHL which can be summed up nicely in one word... Why? October 25th, 2018.

We're going streaking! The Habs win their third straight game against the St. Louis Blues. But, since our last recording, they also picked up wins against the Pens (again lol) and the Red Wings. All of the games were good showings from the Bleu Blanc Rouge, and we even got to fit in our usual flaming and other bits of news with the Habs! Have a listen! October 17th, 2018.

Three games into the season and one shutout loss means that the team should be shook up! We at the Habby Hour disrespectfully disagree! We talked about the 3 most recent preseason games against Ottawa and the two tilts against Toronto and just how GOOD the kids look!
