My guest today is Joshua Smith. He is running for Chairman of the Libertarian National Committee. Josh is on the show to explain exactly why he is the guy for the job. The current chairman has embarrassed the Libertarian Party by demonizing many of the best libertarians out there. Up until I met Josh and interviewed him, I wasn't a renewing member of the Libertarian Party. However, his message inspired me to rejoin and fight to get him elected and the current chairman ousted. My guest this week is Jack Hunter, writer at Rare, The Washington Examiner and more. We discuss his article, "Democrats Hate Tulsi Gabbard Because She Reminds Them What They Used To Stand For". Jack and I discuss the attacks that Tulsi is receiving from the likes of Hillary Clinton, CNN, NY Times and other pro-war establishment voices. Remember when the Democrats ran against wars in the Middle East? Now Tulsi is the only voice in the primaries speaking out against these forever wars that the US remains in and she is under fire from conventional pro-war mouthpieces. Have the neocons moved into the Democratic Party? Why are Democrats "anti-Trump" more than they are "anti-war"? Are most people tired of the claims from Hillary Clinton that everyone she hates is a Russian Agent? My guest today is, Cjay Engel, the proprietor of Bastion Magazine, formerly know as Austro-Libertarian magazine. We discuss the magazine name change and that gets us into a deeper discussion on libertarianism. Cjay and I talk about the identity crisis that libertarianism is facing and the problems that will arise going forward. Many left libertarians are happy to just be anti authority and libertines with no appreciation for Western traditions or culture. There seems to be a cultural war going on within politics and society in general and the libertarian movement is certainly not immune to it. The universalists and neocons have spread their message far and wide and people like Bill Weld and Nick Sarwark have infected the liberty movement with that virus. My guest this week is the great Scott Horton. Many of you know Scott for his brilliant depth of knowledge regarding foreign policy. However, he's also very knowledgeable on the Waco Massacre of 1993 against the Branch Davidians. Lately, some politicians have been making headlines by uttering extremely tyrannical promises. As many of you know, Beto O'Rourke has promised, that if he's elected, you will be forced to turn in your AR15s and AK47s. You may also have heard that Bernie Sanders discussed his support for abortion funding in other countries as to promote worldwide population control. Obviously, both of these are beyond alarming. However, I am here to point out the silver lining in these cases. At least authoritarian members of government are being open and honest about their true intentions. For decades, they have put a nice spin on things. Google has said that they want to sway the 2020 election away from Trump. Facebook, Apple, Twitter and YouTube ban voices that are to the right of Bernie Sanders. How "woke" are these big businesses? My guest today is the former president of the Swedish Chapter of the Mises Institute, Jon Nylander. We discuss the large welfare state in Sweden and the damage it's doing. There has been a large influx of immigrants into Swedish society in the last few years and rather than assisting various cultures with assimilation, the welfare state is pushing them further apart from each other.
