One of the most incredible, self-revealing gifts God has given us is the Bible - the scriptures. Through reading the Bible we discover more about God and how to be in relationship with him - it's one of God's gifts for us to go deeper into Him. God comes alongside people. At the end of the gospel of Luke there's a story about two of Jesus' followers walking away from Jerusalem after his crucifixion. As they walk a stranger comes alongside them, asks them questions and listens to them, before they realise it's the resurrected Jesus!
