  • Revealing the Heart of Righteousness!

    18/03/2023 Duración: 04min

"For I tell you unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:20 Righteousness is a concept that has been deeply ingrained in our society. It is often associated with perfection, moral uprightness, and an unwavering commitment to doing what is right. However, the truth about righteousness is much more nuanced than this outward show of perfection. True righteousness is found in the heart. According to Matthew 5:20, Jesus highlights the importance of looking beyond mere appearances regarding righteousness. The heart of righteousness lies in our intentions and motivations behind our actions. We must seek to do what is right not because it will make us look good or gain us approval from others but because it aligns with our values and beliefs. I understand that righteousness is a term often thrown around by Christians, and some do not know what it means to be righteous. For example, some people believe that once they're s

  • Embracing Your Heavenly Destiny! Part Three

    17/03/2023 Duración: 05min

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 Prayer is the gateway to peace and the heart of a fulfilled life. However, as believers in Christ, we must be mindful of the spiritual warfare surrounding us. The enemy, Satan, always seeks ways to attack and disrupt our walk with God. In 1 Peter 5:8-9, it says, "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith." With this warning in mind, we must be vigilant and prepared for any attacks that may come our way. One powerful weapon against spiritual warfare is prayer. In James 4:7, it says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." By submitting ourselves to God through prayer and seeking His protection over our lives, we can resist the temptations of Satan and overcome his attacks. We must pray fervently and declare boldly in Jesus' name that we will not fall prey to the dev

"Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth." Colossians 3:2 As believers, we have a heavenly destiny promised through our faith in Jesus Christ. In Matthew 4:10, Jesus reminds us to worship only God and serve Him alone. This verse reminds us of the importance of focusing on God and not exchanging our faith for anything else. Our heavenly destiny is not something that can be earned or exchanged. It is a gift from God that he freely gives to everyone who puts their faith in him. Therefore, we must embrace this destiny with open arms and live according to God's will. There may be times when we are tempted to exchange our faith for worldly things, but as Christians, we must remember the words of Matthew 4:10 and remain steadfast in our devotion to God. In the Gospel of Matthew, we read about Jesus being tempted in the wilderness three times. The third temptation is particularly interesting because it shows us how Jesus refused to make an exchange with Satan, even though it would have

  • Embracing Your Heavenly Destiny!

    15/03/2023 Duración: 04min

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5  Heavenly Destiny is not just a journey to find joy but a voyage of self-discovery that leads to a lasting relationship with God. As Psalm 40:5 says, "Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare." The ultimate goal of Heavenly Destiny is to bring one closer to Jesus Christ and allow them to develop a meaningful relationship with Him. The journey towards Heavenly Destiny will not only help individuals discover their purpose in life but also help them connect with their inner selves. This connection enables people to experience a sense of peace and joy that comes from within. As Christians, we believe that our Heavenly Father has a divine plan for each and every one of us. This is exemplified in Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares

  • Showing Gratitude to Jesus Everyday!

    14/03/2023 Duración: 05min

"Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and by your will, they existed and were created." Revelation 4:11 Showing gratitude to Jesus every day is an important part of living a life of faith. Jesus loves us deeply, and his love for us never falters, no matter what we do. As John 8:10-11 states, "Jesus said to her, 'Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?' She said, 'No one, Lord.' And Jesus said, 'Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.'" This scripture shows how much Jesus loves each and every one of us despite our shortcomings. To properly show our love and appreciation for this gift from God, we must express our gratitude daily.  Of course, some people may not understand why we must show gratitude to Jesus, but many times we find ourselves in different life situations, and we get to see whether our loved ones will desert us or they will stick around without being too close. This is a widespread trend among humans; no one wishes t

  • Restoration is Possible - Nothing is Beyond Repair! Part Two

    13/03/2023 Duración: 05min

"For anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." Ephesians 5:14  There is always hope for a fresh start and the ability to be restored. When you allow God to restore you, you will be like a flower in the desert being revived after a rainstorm. Even though its petals have wilted and faded from the heat, it can come back to life with just a little nourishment. The story of David and Bathsheba in the Bible is one of the most fascinating restoration accounts. After David had gone to Bathsheba, he committed a great sin that led to tragic consequences; however, his repentance and willingness to make amends set him on the path to restoration. David's story reminds us that nothing is beyond repair, no matter how grave our situation may be. It takes humility, genuine repentance, and a willingness to do what it takes to right our wrongs. In David's case, he acknowledged his sin, sought God's forgiveness, and reparated for his

  • Restoration is Possible - Nothing is Beyond Repair!

    12/03/2023 Duración: 05min

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people." Titus 2:11 Restoration is possible - nothing is ever beyond repair. When Jesus was on earth, He referred to God more as Father than any other term. He repeated it so often that it would make mischief to deny the same. His apostles repeated the same in all their letters. Peter says we were born of the word (1 Peter 1:23). James says He is the Father of lights, and we are a kind of first fruit of his creatures (James 1:17,18), and the writer of Hebrews affirms he brought many sons unto the glory and that we are His brethren (Hebrews 2:10,11), John exclaims Beloved, now are we the sons of God (1 John 3:1,2). Jesus, upon His resurrection, says to Mary, 'go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God (John 20.17). So, this is a fact that cannot be denied about us. One of the most popular parables of Jesus was that of the so-called prodigal Son (Luke 15.11-32). In that chapter, he tal

  • Becoming the Best Version of Yourself! Part Two

    11/03/2023 Duración: 04min

"To put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires." Ephesians 4:22 Caterpillars are an essential part of the life cycle of a butterfly, as it is in the caterpillar's stage that the transformation from an insect to a beautiful creature takes place. This transformation involves several stages and is a fascinating process to witness. During this process, the caterpillar undergoes complete metamorphosis, transforming itself from a small insect into an entirely different species. Likewise, becoming the best version of yourself is like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly.  It's a process of shedding what no longer serves you and allowing your true authentic self to emerge. The transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly is an incredibly captivating process, representing the journey of becoming our best selves. To reach our full potential, we must learn to embrace the truth of who we are and the power of genuine authenticity. Along with this under

    10/03/2023 Duración: 04min

"But Samuel declared: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obedience to His voice? Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice, and attentiveness is better than the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 15:22 The truth can often be hard to accept and even harder to live by. However, proverbs 21:3 reminds us, "To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice." So striving for genuine authenticity in all aspects of life is important. Being open and honest with ourselves is a necessary part of becoming the best version of ourselves; it's like being a diamond in the rough - once you take the time to uncover your true self and the unique characteristics that make you special, you will shine brighter than ever. Embracing genuine authenticity means removing damaging influences from our lives, eliminating bad habits, and focusing on what truly matters.  Sometimes, it also involves taking responsibility for our actions, being positive about our life choices, and doing w

  • Balance of Fairness: Deuteronomy 25:4 Explained!

    09/03/2023 Duración: 04min

"You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain." Deuteronomy 25:4 Fairness is essential for us to live peacefully and equitably with each other, and it carries through into all aspects of life. The concept of fairness has been around since the dawn of humanity and is rooted in religious teachings such as Deuteronomy 25:16. This verse speaks to the need for impartiality that should exist between people when making decisions or engaging in business transactions. At its core, fairness requires an even-handedness that recognizes the potential consequences of one's actions on another person. It means treating everyone with respect regardless of their background or circumstances.  On a larger scale, fairness takes on many forms, including laws and regulations that ensure social justice for everyone. The image of a seesaw helps to illustrate this concept - when both sides are weighted evenly, the seesaw stays perfectly balanced. If one side has more weight than the other, even if only slightly, the b

  • Balance of Fairness: Proverbs 11:1 Explained

    08/03/2023 Duración: 04min

" Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but an accurate weight is His delight." Proverbs 11:1. Fairness is essential to our lives; it brings balance and harmony. Proverbs 11:1 reads, "A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight." This scripture speaks of the importance of fairness in all aspects of life. This Proverb shows how God values fairness above all else and how it plays a vital role in our day-to-day lives. Fairness can be seen in many areas, such as business transactions, legal proceedings, relationships, sportsmanship, and so much more.  Fairness encourages us to treat each other respectfully regardless of our differences and helps create a sense of justice for everyone involved. Fairness also promotes accountability and responsibility by ensuring everyone has equal access to resources or opportunities without biases or prejudices. Remember, honesty is the best standard to trade in life. It is an essential quality we should all strive for if we wan

  • Learning to Embrace Our New Selves in Christ! Part Two

    07/03/2023 Duración: 05min

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 A caterpillar is a being of humble beginnings. It has limited movement, little understanding of its environment, and a short lifespan. But for those who have experienced transformation in Christ, it can be said that the caterpillar changes its form into something much more glorious. The Bible teaches us that when we accept Jesus as our Savior, something amazing happens: We are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17). This transformation is like taking a caterpillar and transforming it into a beautiful butterfly—the difference between before and after is drastic! We become different people in terms of thought processes, attitudes, and outlooks on life.  This metamorphosis can be scary at first, as old habits die hard, but with effort and patience, we can learn to embrace our newly transformed selves in Christ. Of course, yesterday's devotional was about the slave who refused

"No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." John 15:15  As Christians, we often discuss the importance of our identity in Christ. But what does it mean to embrace that identity? It's not just a matter of accepting who we are today; it's also a matter of understanding and embracing the potential for growth that comes with being part of God's kingdom. The Bible clarifies that children's identity in the kingdom of God is determined not by their age but by what they believe and do. This means that no matter how young or old we may be when we accept Jesus into our hearts, He gives us new life and fills us with His spirit.  With this new life in Christ comes an opportunity to live differently - to become more like Him and less like our former selves. There was this story of a slave boy; Who asked a favor from his master not to call him a slave or servant anytime

  • God's Unfailing Faithfulness!

    05/03/2023 Duración: 04min

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God of our salvation." Psalm 68:19 Faithfulness is an important attribute of God that we can rely on daily. God's faithfulness is seen in the rising sun each morning. It is dependable and consistent, like the promise of a new day beginning. We find assurance in His loving kindness, which symbolizes his unwavering devotion to us; He never fails us. In Isaiah 46:4, we are reminded that God's faithfulness is unshakable: "Even to your old age I am he, even when your hair has turned gray I will carry you; I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and save."  God's faithful presence brings comfort and hope during our darkest days. We can trust that He is there for us no matter what we face or how much time passes. We might have embraced 'reality' television programming far from reality and God's agenda. Likewise, we might have allowed ourselves to be deceived for the sake of entertainment due to hidden agendas, greedy motives, and manipulative tactics that

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope." Romans 15:13 Through prayer, we can talk to God and ask for guidance, strength, and comfort. Philippians 1:6, in particular, offers a powerful message of hope and peace -saying, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." This verse speaks volumes about faith's power and trust in God's plan for our lives. I pray that the Lord will look upon you with favor and give you peace in Jesus' name. Amen. May the LORD lift His countenance toward you and give you peace in Jesus' name.  We all have dreams, goals, and aspirations that we want to achieve, but often it can be difficult to stay motivated when things don't go as planned or when times get tough. However, I pray that God will turn every ugly situation around for your good. Thankfully, God is our source of strength. Philippians 4:13 says, 'I can do all this through him who str

" And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6 Have you considered increasing your faith as you face those challenges? Drawing upon our faith and holding onto those principles can give us strength during times when our future may feel uncertain. It allows us to stay focused on our goals no matter how difficult they seem. Faith and Perseverance are like a ship and its oars. Just as a ship without oars cannot move forward, so too, without faith and perseverance, one cannot achieve anything worthwhile. But with faith and perseverance, the impossible becomes possible. We all know that faith is the cornerstone of any successful journey. It's the key to believing in yourself and having a strong, resilient mindset to face hardships head-on. Paul wrote to the church in Philippi, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13). This is a declaration of faith and perseverance. No matter what life throws our way, we c

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15:7  One of the most powerful strategies for perseverance is prayer, as it brings us closer to God's guidance, which can provide us with comfort in times of stress. Perseverance and prayer are like a lighthouse; perseverance is the light that never goes out, guiding us through our darkest days, and prayer is the beacon that remains, providing us with hope. That's why Romans 15:13 says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Amen. Prayer gives us inner strength through its connection with faith. The Bible provides guidance to help us develop the mental strength needed to persevere through difficulty. Ephesians 6:10 encourages us to be "strong in the Lord and in his mighty power," while 2 Thessalonians 2:15 tells us "to stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we have received." "O My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt. Matthew 26:39 When Jesus faced the cross, he prayed to God in Matthew 26:39 that his suffering would pass. But even when it seemed impossible, Jesus persevered and stayed true to his faith. As a result, he became an example of how individuals can make a difference through hard work and determination. Looking at his life as a source of inspiration, we can see that anything is possible when you persevere. We live in a world where opportunity is abundant; however, success can only be achieved through dedication and perseverance.  No matter what path you choose or what challenges you face, there will always be an opportunity for change if you remain steadfast in your beliefs. Whether it's starting a new business venture or using your talents to help those less fortunate, there are many ways one can use their skills to make an impact on society. "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in the due season, we will reap if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9  Perseverance is a trait that can help anyone in life. It does not mean stubbornness or determination to do something out of one's will. It is not about going against the grain but staying true to yourself and your convictions. It means having the strength to keep going despite challenging times. It's about believing in God and trusting in His plan for your life because He knows how much you need it and how much it will help other people in their lives. According to Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." This biblical verse emphasizes just how important it is to stay steadfast and consistent no matter what obstacles come our way. Remember, perseverance also involves turning setbacks into opportunities. With perseverance, one can find ways to recover after experiencing failure or disappointment. One must lear
