The news hit me SO hard I responded with anger, vindictiveness, and confusion. All of those areas had done one thing to me, allow the enemy to steal a part of my life. After having a close encounter with GOD and choosing HIM over my own selfishness, he saw fit to work on my personal issues right down to my core. It took 2 years of removing drinking, smoking, cheating, lies,and tears of hurt to position my spouse and I to become a more powerful married couple than ever before. This segment, we wrap up our topic on 2 factors to a great relationship. Congratulations guys! Your relationship with your spouse or partner is a union you can continue to grow and deepen with time and trust. Letting go of the basic day-2-day routines and conversations requires a need to do better. We got a surprise response this week from my own Dad about two factors in a great relationship. He mentioned that Communication and Humor are very important as well. Let me say I totally agree with those factors. I come from line of hilarious men-- we all just somehow managed to keep our women laughing-- so I see how easy it to break the ice with women and how you can keep them engaged in your conversation. Today we dig deeper into the two relationship factors In talked about last episode. Trust and Time--easy words to spout off--but not too often will you hear about people using them. A man is gifted with personal talents and abilities, and whatever we need foundation on, we work on those things. Almost every situation you are in when dealing with someone else, your trust and time are given and taken. Two resources that is hard to get back. So use them wisely, every hardship doesn't require you to jump ship and everybody you meet doesn't mean that you are now friends. The truest form of any relationship requires trust and time. After listening to a past episode, I remembered a conversation I had with a security officer last night. During our conversation I practiced what I preached and told him about what I do with my life and who I am working to become. The surprised looks on his face during our talk was priceless to me because I had taken what he thought he knew about me and dispelled it. Another level of confidence had entered into me last night.
