    The Brisbane Broncos have been the focus of the NRL world this week, a crisis board meeting keeping fans on their toes about the future of the club. "We've been virtually camping at the Broncos all week long," says NRL legend Wally Lewis. The now named 'slot machine six' have had their names pulled up by the board, their futures in question. "The rumours have really started about how unhappy the bosses of the broncos are," Lewis shares. Amongst the names, Coach Anthony Seibold was rumoured to have his head on the chopping block, but according to Lewis, there's no truth to it. "I don't think that that's the case at all, "I'm fairly confident that he's going to be given free rein," shares Lewis. Out of the 'slot machine six' Lewis states that Corey Oates is safe with the club. "I think the Broncos would be mad to get rid of him," expresses Lewis. Rumours of 'incentive' based contracts from the Broncos to its players have been flying around which could be the start of a culture change to a club.

"This summer it's time to move on... Draw the line right now" states Geoff Lawson. Lawson praises Paine for an incredible job as captain and nominates who he feels should be captain for the first test against Pakistan. "He's been absolutely fabulous in difficult times, in unique circumstances... but his own personal form has not been terrific, "I've probably got Pat Cummins tossing the coin." expresses Lawson. With the summer of test cricket beginning on the 21st of November at the Gabba there will be big calls from Cricket Australia to make sure the squad is at it's strongest with the right leader leading the charge.

    NRL and Broncos premiership-winning legend Glenn Lazarus, has had it with the Broncos. The Eels 58-0 thumping of his former club was a tough 80 minutes to watch for Lazarus. "As an ex-Broncos who played with some of the greats of the Brisbane Broncos, I sat there very very embarrassed, it was very hard to watch," said Lazarus. Speaking with David Morrow and Mat Thompson, Lazarus states that he was surprised that the Broncos made the finals. " I don't think they deserved to be in the eight from the start," Lazarus explained. Lazarus states that Broncos Coach Anthony Seibold, who took the reigns this year in unusual circumstances from Wayne Bennett failed in key areas as a coach for his side. "I don't think Seibold takes as much responsibility as he should, "It's the coaches responsibility to get them up for that game," shares a passionate Lazarus.
