This week we have a very special, and formally different, episode! Lux's dad, the RENOWNED Rabbi Jack Luxemburg, joined the Gameboiz for a quick interview during his trip to Austin. Now you get to hear all about Lux as a kid, how Jack taught the boys to read, and why the Talmud matters when we think about video games. Wild, right? Well, check it out!

It's time the Gameboiz talked about a recent game, SO THEY DO! This week they get into God of War with none other than Lux's boss and Griffin's former acquaintance (now friend!) Jared Bauer! They discuss why Jared moved to LA, the beauty of sauce synthesis, and ludology (a real word!). This week Griff and Lux are joined by friend, comedian, and excellent guest, Phillip Binder. Despite technical difficulties, they're able to touch on such riveting topics as putting people you know into the game, creating the narrative in your head, and a game designer who just wants to make his (metaphorical) daddy proud. All that and more (including segments!) on this week's Gameboiz.

This week The Boiz confront addiction, mind control, and their own past, as they're joined by comedian, designer, and person who has literally played solitaire: Alison Lowenberg, to dive deep on The Simpsons: Tapped Out. Topics include: Memories of The Simpsons, delivery food, social justice hashtags, and segments.

The Boiz bond with comedian and human who has literally been on television (a little show called Whitest Kids U Know on IFC), Sam Brown. This week they talk Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. It's a really hard game. There's also talk of tour buses, vomiting, and of course ... segments.

Three people in three locations on ONE EPISODE OF THE GAMEBOIZ! This week, Lux and Griffin are joined by visual artist and good buddy Maxwell Barnes (aka Babaji). They talk about art, easter eggs, and how video games can be pretty inspirational. Mostly, though it's about a game changer of a game: GTA V.

Comedian, wrestler, former roommate, and innovative bed user, Adam "Porky" Serwa joins Lux and Griffin to talk postmodernism, dating sims, and HORROR as they dive deep on Doki Doki literature club. All of that and more, including an idea for a segment that doesn't happen, but might later. WOW!

This week the boiz talk art! Jacob Gerstel joins Lux and Griffin to chat about a truly epic game, Shadow of the Colossus. There's talk of horses, swords, gender dynamics, and of course giant rock monsters. All that, plus new segments and more! Check it out! It's good for your ears.
