When was the last time you audited your own heart? As we enter the Awaken season, this message invites us to pause and take stock of where we’re at. When prayer fades, something else quietly takes its place. Over time, faith can drift, relationships can strain, and hearts can grow cluttered without us even noticing. While the crowd tries to shut him down, he keeps cryingout for mercy, and Jesus gives him His full attention. Bartimaeus throws aside what once felt like security, names what he truly wants, and then follows Jesus with his new life. On the winter solstice (the shortest day and longest night of the year) Scripture reminds us that darkness is never the end of the story.
