Like his father Abraham, Moses faith caused him to leave. Moses also placed his faith in the blood. Then when it came time Moses believe God and stuck out his hand the Red Sea parted and dry up.

Mose's parents moved by faith and hid Mose form Pharoah and his army. When Moses was grown he made a decision to follow God by faith.

The faith of Joseph caused him to see an event in the future. That event was his family returning to the promise land. Your faith must extend passed your lifetime.

The faith of Abraham was passed down to his children and to their children. God intervened in their lives to keep his promise to Abraham. God will do the same for you and your family.

Abraham's faith was proven. He obeyed God and believe that what God promised would happen no matter what the circumstances said.

As believer we must keep our eyes on the things that are eternal. God has prepared for us a city. So keep looking beyond the natural world and for that eternal city.

Faith is always for the future. It is based upon hope and is expecting the promises of God. The heroes of faith died before they physically received the promise. Don't look back but keep looking ahead.

Even though Sara had times of doubt it did not change the promise of God. Sara believed that God is faithful. Together with Abraham faith, they had descendants that have altered the world.

We need to look in faith as Abraham did. By faith we see the promise of God fulfilled. Keep in mind that God is the architect and the builder so trust Him.

Abraham lived in the promised land as a alien. He did this by faith. He believe that the land was given to him and his heirs. We must live by faith.

Abraham put his faith in God and left all of his inheritance and moved away. He moved into the unknown. God calls us to leave what we have and move out into the unknown.

Noah believed God's warning and because of his reverence for God spent 120 years building the ark! He saved his household but judged the world.

Faith pleases God. Our simple faith trusts God. We believe that He is. We must also believe that He rewards us with what we are asking in faith.

Enoch believed God and because of his faith, God then testifies that Enoch is pleasing to Him and takes Enoch up in a rapture.

Abel offered his sacrifice in faith. That pleased God and his faith in the blood made his sacrifice acceptable to God.

The men of old are witnesses to what faith will do. We believe that God's Word can create whatever is needed just as it did at creation.

The definition of faith. It gives our hope the ability to stand. It gives proof or evidence to the things that are seen.

These are words of encouragement. We must continue in confidence and walk by faith. Our reward is coming with Jesus. We will not back down from our faith!

The writer of Hebrews reminds the Hebrew believer of the persecution they have suffered. Many of them have lost everything even their own lives.

The writer of Hebrews gives us three things about those who continue to sin. They treat Jesus like trash, they insult the blood of Jesus by calling it unclean and they insult the spirit of grace. God will take vengeance
