Jesus said that if it were possible the very elect will be deceived. There is an important revelation in these words. It can and must be impossible for us to be deceived. This Sunday we will begin a new series which will analyze what Jesus said in context and learn how to assure that it is impossible to be deceived.

Have you ever thought about the word "transmission"? If your auto's transmission has ever gone out, you know it is very bad (and expensive news). The transmission takes the power created by the engine's power plant and "transmits" it to the tires so the automobile becomes mobile. I'm not a mechanic but I believe the transmission accomplishes its mission by aligning gears. When that alignment is right, things start moving. Likewise, when fellow believers align right, spiritual motion starts. This Sunday we will make sure your spiritual transmission is working right.

Who am I to you? As I begin the final message in the "Resolutions that Heal" series this question comes into focus. This is a question we need answered by everyone close to us. We need to know what roles we play in each other's lives. What responsibilities to have for each other? I will be teaching on the six roles that those close to us must play in our lives.

This Sunday we will continue to look at resolutions that heal and how to make the right re-connections. This week's message will teach you how to connect with the person God created you to be. Living out this identity will bring about fruitfulness.

Resolutions that heal involve four things; the right connections, the right disconnections, the right re-connections and the determination to live out these three. This Sunday's message will teach you how to connect with the person God created you to be. Living out this identity will bring about the fruitfulness we were designed for.

Have you ever experienced a setback? Of course, we all have. But did you know the quality of our lives is greatly determined by the way we deal with setbacks? Counselors call it the ability to metabolize loss. In this metabolism we use what is helpful and discard the rest. This process takes place in the spiritual community. It is in these close relationships that losses are put in perspective and kept from causing long-term dysfunction. This Sunday's message will deal the how we need to be connected to the "safe circle" so we can deal with the challenges of life in ways that assure that our lives remain fruitful.

You've made connections. You made disconnections. This Sunday we will learn the importance of making re-connections. There are critical connections in our lives that need to be made in a totally different way. These new ways of relating to certain people will be essential to our fruitfulness. We're digging deep.

Are you suffering from disconnect? Or perhaps you are suffering from the lack of disconnection. As we continue learn about "Resolutions that Heal" we need to know what disconnections to make. Our lives are constantly being pressured by the agendas of others. At times this is positive. At other times it is crippling. Sunday's message will help you understand what agendas you need to disconnect from.

Let me introduce you to you. You are a person marked by "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." How accurate is this description? If it doesn't seem to fit very well, help is on the way. This Sunday we will examine the first of four resolutions that bring healing and fruitfulness.

Sunday we will continue the series called “Resolutions that heal”. We need to know that healing requires a commitment to the healing process. Can love, joy, peace, patience and the rest of the Spirit’s fruit ever show up in my life? Yes, but I must commit to the path the Spirit has chosen for me. Healing comes to those who refuse to allow their present brokenness to become their future standard of living. If you are ready to make some resolutions that heal.

In Matthew chapter 9, when Jesus saw the crowds, He saw the need and immediately expressed the urgency for laborers to address the need. The size of the crowd wasn’t the goal. The size of the mission is what had Christ’s attention. Sunday morning we will take a closer look.

Expectations often lead to disappointment. Resolutions usually end in failure. High hopes set the stage for low results. What if it could all be different? What if we made resolutions that truly brought about changes that lead to healing and wholeness? What if the coming months ushered in a new level of living? What if the things that hold you down are finally evicted from your life? All this is possible and within reach, but you will need to do something unprecedented in your life. You'll need to make resolutions that heal. I am extremely excited about a brand new series the Lord has given me for the opening weeks of 2020. There is one big condition to making resolutions that heal-- you must be willing to do things differently, to think about things differently. With the Bible as our guide, we can make 2020 the year of wholeness. We'll get started this Sunday
