Jesus desires for us to have an abiding faith in Him that leads us to run to Him in dependence ourselves and to sacrificially lead others to Him as well.

Jesus shows us that prayer is less about getting things from God and more about enjoying God Himself, something we need regardless of how busy we are or what other needs we have.

Jesus has the desire and the power to restore those who understand their need for grace.

Jesus' followers listen to His Word and respond with hearts that long to obey, repent, and devote themselves to Him.

Jesus came to proclaim and demonstrate the Kingdom of God through His power and authority over all things, and we have been called to represent Him and His kingdom here on earth until He returns

Jesus' words are powerful. They are powerful to instruct, to deliver, and to heal. Do I cherish His words and submit to them?

Jesus calls people to take Him at His Word. Do we take Him at His Word?

Jesus is the Messiah, the Savior of the world, on His terms and not ours.

The Son of God resisted all of Satan's temptations to sin so that He could free us from both the penalty of our sin and its power in our lives.

God in His grace gave us the genealogy of Jesus' family so we can be certain that He really is the Messiah and that our future with Him is sure.

The baptism of Jesus shows us God's amazing plan of salvation - how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all work together to make us righteous before God.

God calls His people to point others urgently to Jesus, regardless of the cost, by trusting that their reward and ultimate blessing are yet to come.

John the Baptist gives both a promise of hope and a warning of judgement.

The resurrection of Jesus changes everything. Without it, we would have a hopeless life and eternity. But because of it, we have an unfathomable hope now and forever.
