    Some Things to Think About

  • Listen to Jesus

    03/05/2020 Duración: 37min

After Peter's confession that Jesus is the Messiah, Jesus began to reveal that He must go to Jerusalem where He will suffer many things at the hands of the spiritual leaders, be killed and rise on the third day. After Peter responded negatively, Jesus issued a challenge to His disciples: to continue to follow Him would require them to give up their lives and follow Him even unto death.

  • Decision Time

    26/04/2020 Duración: 36min

The story takes place in Caesarea Philippi, gentile territory north of the Sea of Galilee. It was here that Jesus quizzed the disciples asking them who the people thought He was. In the midst of this, Peter declared his conviction that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of the living God.

  • Peter's Unique Role

    19/04/2020 Duración: 50min

In our study this morning we discover that Jesus gave Peter two important roles in establishing the early Church.

  • "I must ascend" - Easter 2020

    12/04/2020 Duración: 37min

Join Pastor Paul, Nate, and Phil, as they lead us in a study of John 20:11-18 on this blessed resurrection day of 2020.

  • Jesus Declares War

    05/04/2020 Duración: 33min

As we will see in our study today, Jesus sought a decision from His disciples. Once made, Jesus responds with a decision of His own.

  • To Whom Are You Listening?

    29/03/2020 Duración: 51min

Who we listen to shapes who we are and that for which we live. It is critically important we choose wisely those to whom we listen. This was a lesson our Lord Jesus taught His disciples after the feeding of the four thousand recorded in Matthew 15.

  • Jesus Ministers to Gentiles

    22/03/2020 Duración: 45min

Genuine, biblical Christianity is the ultimate solution for racial discrimination for at least two reasons. First, we know that every person of every people group is created in the image of God. Therefore, every human being has intrinsic worth and is to be valued. Second, Jesus models cross-cultural, cross-racial care and acceptance that we should emulate.

  • Dogged Faith

    08/03/2020 Duración: 45min

A test proves the quality of the thing tested. In our story today, Jesus tested a woman. As the story unfolds, we’ll see why.

  • Clean Hands and Defiled Hearts

    01/03/2020 Duración: 43min

Jesus had just done some amazing things in the area of Capernaum. He fed 5,000 people (more like 15,000 if you include women and children) by multiplying bread. He walked on water during a storm, and powerfully taught in the local synagogue. There were many who loved His miracles and moved closer to Jesus, but there were others who stopped following Him due to the ‘hardness’ of His teachings.

  • Better Bread

    23/02/2020 Duración: 47min

There are some who believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah, there are some who don’t, and there are still others who are on the fence. Then, to add to this already mixed group, a crowd arrives from Bethsaida. These are the ones who had just been fed by Jesus and, because of that, have come looking for him. They want him to provide for them once more. They want more bread. Jesus doesn’t give them the bread they are looking for, instead, he offers them BETTER BREAD.

  • The Identity of Jesus

    16/02/2020 Duración: 47min

Properly identifying Jesus is the most important task any person can seek to complete. Very few people deny the historicity of Jesus, but there are countless answers to the question of who he actually was. Was he a prophet? A sage? A religious teacher? A social revolutionary? The Messiah? God incarnate? An angel? The list goes on and on. Not surprisingly, as people engage with the bible and/or other historical sources, their answer to this question often begins to change.

  • Going Beyond the Natural

    09/02/2020 Duración: 46min

It will not be a shock to anyone to read that we live in a physical world and as result of that we have physical needs. We need food, water, rest, shelter etc. These needs govern and guide a vast majority of our daily activities. This is just the way life is. This world however is not just physical, but is spiritual as well, and all people have corresponding spiritual needs.

  • John The Baptizer

    02/02/2020 Duración: 46min

Today we will be picking back up with a look at John the Baptizer and what took place after he ushered Jesus into public ministry. His name has not been mentioned in months, but despite his relatively small coverage in the Gospel accounts, we will see in our study that John played a role in God’s story unlike and even greater than anyone who had come before him. In order to get the whole context we have to do a little looking back.

  • Preaching Tour - Part 2

    26/01/2020 Duración: 40min

Jesus directed His Apostles to do a hard thing when He sent them on their first preaching tour as recorded in Matthew 10. This preaching tour challenged the Apostles to grow in some very profound ways.

  • Preaching Tour

    19/01/2020 Duración: 47min

Jesus is our model; He raised up, trained and sent out the Twelve. One of the ministry shifts Jesus made after the day of rejection was to intensify the training of the Twelve and as we will see today and next week, take them to a deeper level in their service.

  • Death Is Not A Problem for Jesus

    29/12/2019 Duración: 42min

As we are discovering, major shifts took place in Jesus' ministry after a specific day; the day of rejection. Teaching in parables represents one of the major shifts; on the day of rejection Jesus began teaching in parables to hide the truth from those who rejected Him and to reveal truth to the remnant. Our study today will reveal yet another shift; a shift in Jesus' performance of miracles.
