Happy to have Shellie Enteen return to the show to continue our conversation about the treasure trove that mythology of the Welsh Goddesses still holds for today's women.  Shellie, an author, astrologer, interfaith minister, aromatherapist, educator, reiki master and public speaker has extensively researched the Druids for her trilogy, Revealing the Druid Legacy, an inspired memoir of a Dark Age Druid Priestess and she shares the valuable information with myself and listeners.  We'll talk about how Welsh Goddesses fit into Neo-Druidry and how they compare to those in the Celtic Dark Age.  We'll learn when their stories were writen, which are the most familiar Welsh Goddesses and what we can glean from the Neo-Druid Goddess myths useful for women now.  

I'm thrilled to speak to leading Artemis expert, Dr. Carla Ionescu who has published several papers and authored a recent book titled "She Who Hunts - Artemis, The Goddess Who Changed the World."  Dr. Carla has become a respected authority on the subject and her work has not only advanced our understanding of ancient beliefs and rituals, but has also rekindled interest in the Goddess' role in shaping herstorical events.  We'll delve into Artemis, including the Ephesian Letters, her connection to Mary, Mother of Jesus, connections between ancient beliefs and modern cultural practice, what she means by Artemis as the "wild" Goddess, and how Artemis has changed the world.  Having both traveled to many of these ancient sites of Goddess, Carla and I have much to discuss!  I'm so excited!

Visionary teacher of women's wisdom for over 30 years, Corinna Wood is a beloved leader in the holistic healing community now pioneering an earth-based and woman-centered approach to communication and the psyche.  Today we'll delve into spiritual bypassing, toxic positivity and some of the issues you see with spiritual bypassing as well as how this impacts one's ability to heal and recover from trauma and abuse.  Hear Corinna share a common spiritual bypass comment with one that actually supports authetic healing as well as approaching communication in a way that supports authentic healing.

Monica Esgueva, renowned self-development teacher and spiritual guide bridges the gap between Eastern and Western philsophies.  We'll discuss her journey of self-discovery, including the many years she spent in India and Nepal which enables her to help the transformation of individuals for more than 15 years.  Interesting topics we'll cover today are misconceptions about finding joy and happiness, changing careers to align with our life purpose, practical advice for personal transformation and what working with kids with cancer in hospice taught her about death and the soul's journey.

Dale Allen is with me today discussing her 25 year journey, sharing the healing energy of the Sacred Feminine through her work, the one woman show In Our Right Minds: Guiding Women to Their Strength as Leaders, Leading Men to Strength Without Armor, which has been widely acclaimed at universities, conferences, corporations, theaters and expos across the US, Canada, from Kauai to Dubai, the UN Commission on the Status of Women, and the Parliament of the World's Religions.  The film version has been awarded in 19 independent film festivals worldwide.

Celtic practictioner, author, inter-faith minister, educator and healer, Shellie Enteen has extensively researched the philosophy and practices of the ancient Druids and how its evolved.  We'll specifically focus on the life for women in what is now the UK before the advent of Christianity and why and how it changed.  We'll discuss Druid Goddesses and Neo-Druid goddess myths, particularly related to how this information can help the modern woman.  . Eight festivals on the Druid calendar will get our attention as well as the legends of King Arthur and how they differ from the source and why.  

Filmmaker, journalist and artist, Laura Hirch released the multi-part docu-series titled From the Goddess late last year.  We'll discuss with Laura how she talks about central themes of women, healing, spirituality, mysticism and art as they relate to the Great Goddess in early history and modern times.  Hirch shows how women have played an important role in earlier societies, how they've been worshiped as the creatrix of life and the bearer of community and a source of sacredness.  Laura gets into patriarchy's rise and the part is played in the destruction in goddess spirituality and the status of women.  A rich look at what once was and ideas about what might serve humanity in the future.

Robin Corak, author of the book, Demeter, is also an end of life doula, and reiki coach who shares with us her extensive knowledge of the Greek Goddess Demeter.  We'll delve deeper than what you learned in your grade school or high school mythology class, helping listeners realize Demeter's significance in ancient times and today.  We'll talk about the Mother Wound, what Demeter can teach us about grief and loss, and how Demeter weilds anger and vengeance and reconcile that with her image as the nurturing and loving archetype.  Demeter is important related to social justice and we'll discuss how she might become part of one's spiritual path.  Robin is also the author of Persephone: Practicing the Art of Personal Power.

Workshop presenter, author of multiple books and retreat facilitator, Deborah Perdue discusses her passion about the power of gratitude and why we should not overlook this magic bullet to help us on our life's path.  Deborah will share with listeners how she's expanded the practice of gratitude through the years and how this has become an important tool in her spiritual toolbox.

Practicing Melissae Priestess, Elizabeth Ashley, a plant and bee shamanes/guardian is with us to discuss her book, Meeting the Melissae: Ancient Bee Priestesses of Demeter.  Today's talk might just as well be called All Things Demeter as we delve into Demeter's sanctuaries, the practices of her priestesses called Melissae and bee shamanism.  I'll ask Elizabeth about the Eleusinian Mysteries and how the Greek religion differs from religions of today, as well as what this ancient religion and these priestesses can teach us today.  And as a special treat, I'll play a relevant cut from our beloved, Layne Redmond, called Bee Mantra.

Healer, artist, herbalist, agroecologist and shamanic practitioner Krystal Rains has had as her mission Healing Ancestral Legacy Trauma using Q'ero Shamanism, Reiki and other modalities for many years.  She shares her experiences and lessons to help others create their own ancestral healing journey for self care as well as share with us the trends in ancestral healing as this alternative healing modality is becoming more widely known, even mainstream.

Prof. Rachel McCoppin, Ph.D returns to the show to discuss her other book, The Legacy of the Goddess: Heroines, Warriors and Witches from World Mythology to Folktales and Fairy Tales - and that's just what we'll be chatting about today!  We'll have fun delving into famous folktales and fairy tales that possibly reveal elements of ancient goddess worship and discover what women today gain from identifying sacred messages in folktales and fairy tales they may have passed over as a mere children's tale.  We'll also talk about the importance of these stories and narratives to shape society and why re-writes are often called for if we want to re-shape our future for women everywhere.

With her feast day of December 12th approaching, Karen Tate will share the good news of Our Lady of Guadalupe who comes from a long line of "epiphanny" goddesses who "appeared" to humanity urging us to strive for positive transformation and the flowering of humanity - also good fortune or what some might call miracles.  Join Karen as she shares the story of Guadalupe's miracles and pays her tribute.

Caryn MacGrandle, creatrix behind the Divine Feminine App, an online community since 2016 connecting women (all genders) in circles, events and resources is with me today to have a conversation about women's leadership.  Some, but not all questions we'll delve into are  The need for action now, why there are not more marches and public gatherings, why we just keep re-inventing the wheel instead of building on the accomplishments of foremothers, why is the return of the Divine Feminine taking so long?
