Episodios

  • Episode 13: Sledgehammer

    20/06/2011 Duración: 50min

The '80s shot-on-video horror movie SLEDGEHAMMER is the focus of this episode. This bizarre movie recently saw a new release on DVD and a limited edition VHS issue that sold out in just 13 minutes! Justin talks with two of the film's fans who were responsible for getting this forgotten film back on DVD. Clint Kelly loves the movie so much, he bought the rights to the movie. He's also a filmmaker himself and is currently working on his film GENERATION Z (check out the trailer at http://youtu.be/SJellDr-Lls). Evan Husney is the creative director behind Intervision Film Corporation, a sub-label of Severin Films devoted to releasing weird forgotten movies like SLEDGEHAMMER.

  • Episode 12: Jacob Young Interview/Super review

    17/05/2011 Duración: 49min

Justin talks with filmmaker Jacob Young, director of the infamous Jesco White documentary "The Dancing Outlaw," which was the precursor to the 2009 documentary "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia." Jacob discusses his time producing the offbeat PBS series "Different Drummer" and his new film "The Object," while sharing some hilarious and exclusive stories. After that, Justin is joined by Chris LaMartina to talk about James Gunn's new film "Super," the hilarious dark superhero comedy starring Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page that's currently in release from IFC Films. Oh, and Chris mistakes Rainn Wilson for a potential porn star name.

  • Episode 11: IWC Films Double Feature/Scream 4

    19/04/2011 Duración: 32min

Brainwrap is back! Justin brings his collaborators Zane Crosby and Joshua Lively on the show to talk about "The IWC Films Collection Double Feature: Die and Let Live/Raising the Stakes." It's a DVD set featuring both of their feature length horror-comedy films, plus some exclusive extras. There's also a spoiler-free talk about "Scream 4" if you want to get away from the self-promotional nonsense Justin, Zane and Josh are bringing!
