Scripture On Creation Podcast

The Lord warns the arrogant to cease their boasting.  A common boast in this modern era is that "Science" has explained the origin of the universe without any necessity for God.  We discuss how accurate such claims are, and what the Creator's response might be.

The Psalmist praises the Lord for His power displayed in His wondrous works (miracles).  The Lord warns the arrogant that He who laid the pillars (foundations) of the earth will be the impartial Judge of all.

This Psalm was most likely written during the 400 year "silent period" before John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus Christ's presence on earth.  The Psalmist pleads with the Lord to once again do mighty works as He did in creation.

After a 40 Psalm "silence" related to creation or God being identified as the Creator, Psalm 74 recalls great miracles the Lord performed including His acts in creation. Of special interest is the likely possibility that this Psalm was written over two centuries after Malachi.

The human eye is an extremely complex organ.  Evolutionists claim that because the retina is "backwards" (inverted), the human eye is flawed and this indicates it was not designed by an intelligent Designer.  We consider several reasons showing the need for and superiority of our inverted retina when compared to an everted one which octopi and squid possess.

Building upon the Lord's claim that He created the heavens and the earth, the Creator states He also controls the nations, i.e. the flow of history.  In addition to that "grand" control, He is even involved with Man on an individual level.

Psalm 33:9 is cited by "young earth" creationists as support for the position that the Creator accomplished His work in 6 days as "literally" recorded in Genesis 1. 

Evolutionists suggest that our knees are poorly designed (we shouldn't have to endure football injuries; tongue-in-cheek.  And pain in childbirth is another inexplicable flaw. 

Dr. Karen describes the fantastic complexity involving tissues and the materials they make during the development of teeth.  An example of "duct tape and lumber scraps"?--definitely not!

Is the human body designed or cobbled together?  Creationists and evolutionists have different explanations and point to different evidences to support their viewpoint.  Dr. Karen Scripture discusses the idea of crowded teeth.

The Creator is in control of the earth.  Descriptions of the power of God displayed in violent storms and earthquakes are reasons to ascribe GLORY to the Lord.  (This program was recorded after the earthquake and subsequent tsunami that devastated Japan in March of 2011.)

This Psalm refers to God founding the earth.  On that basis--as Creator--"the earth is the Lord's."  He determines who may enter His presence, He will come to earth according to His own will.

The testimony of God in the heavens is inescapable.  People on every continent and speakers of every language all "hear" the same declaration--the Creator God is great, and He is glorious!

This well known Psalm of David highlights the biblical truth that God is revealed in two main ways; in creation (especially in the heavenly bodies) and in His Word.  Nowhere on earth can His existence be denied since there is no place where the heavens are not visible.

A tiny worm larvae with brain and gut intact was found in China.  Perfectly preserved for-- according to evolutionists--520 million years.  The detail of this specimen is astounding and begs the question; could it really be that old.

Psalm 8 highlights the amazing power and grandeur of the Creator displayed in His "fingerwork."  In light of how great God is, David marvels that the Creator would care about him.

The Scripture On Creation program will begin a new series-Creation in the Psalms. Creation and the Creator are a major theme in the book of Psalms. We will be considering any passages related to creation or to God if He is identified as the Creator.  The 1st such Psalm is, Psalm 8.

Jesus' substitutionary death on the cross paid for all the sin of the world; it also redeemed a cursed creation.  For personal redemption, an individual must trust Jesus Christ's work on their behalf which He accomplished on the cross.  The creation will be set free from corruption when Christ returns.
