Today is day twenty-five in our journey of thirty days in the Book of Psalms. We are on the longest chapter in the Bible, Psalm 119. We will divide it in half, verses 1-88 today and complete Psalm 119 in the next devotion. The longest chapter in the Bible elevates God’s Word. Is that a message to us?

Today is day twenty-four in our thirty-day journey through the Book of Psalms. We will look at five more psalms, 114-118. We will look at the shortest psalm and the middle verse of the Bible. If you could summarize the Bible in one verse, what would it be? Would you put it in the center of the Bible?

Today is day twenty-three of our thirty-day journey through the Book of Psalms. We will look at six psalms today, Psalms 108-113. We will focus on the false accusations in Psalm 109. Have you, or are you, being falsely accused? How did you, or how do you want to respond?

Today brings us to day twenty-two in our journey through the Book of Psalms. We will look at two psalms, Psalm 106 and 107, because they are longer, Psalm 106, forty-eight verses, and Psalm 107, forty-three verses. Psalm 106 is a reminder of where we go wrong. Psalm 107 is a reminder that as we go wrong, God’s steadfast love lasts forever. Do you need God’s steadfast love today?

Today, we are in day twenty-one of our walk through the Book of Psalms. We are going to cover just two psalms today, but they are longer. Psalm 104 has thirty-five verses, and Psalm 105 has forty-five verses. Psalm 104 reminds us of God the creator. Psalm 105 reminds us of God’s faithfulness. How do you remember God’s faithfulness in your life?

Today is day twenty in our journey through the Book of Psalms. We will look at Psalms 99-103. With these five psalms, we cross the 100 mark today. There is much praise in these psalms. Psalm 101, attributed to David, has eight “I wills” in it. Our relationship with God is a choice. What “will” you do or not do in your relationship with God?

Today is day nineteen in our journey through the Book of Psalms. We will take a look at seven psalms, 92-98, all compelling us to worship. How is your worship of God?

In our thirty-day journey through the Book of Psalms, today is day eighteen. We will look at three psalms, Psalms 89, 90, and 91. Psalm 90 is the only psalm attributed to Moses. Do you see your work as unto the Lord, or is it just a job? Do you ask God’s blessing on your work and your job?

Today is day seventeen in our journey through the Book of Psalms. We are going to look at four psalms, Psalms 85-88. Do you ignore God, or is He far from you, until you are in trouble? When do you “cry out to God”?

Today is day sixteen in our journey through the Book of Psalms. Today, we are going to look at six psalms, Psalms 79-84. God begs His people to listen to Him. Does He beg you too, or do you willingly and joyfully seek His voice?

Today is day fifteen in our journey through the Book of Psalms. We are going to look at two psalms today, Psalms 77 and 78, but Psalm 78 is seventy-two verses. Psalm 78 is a history of God’s relationship with His people Israel. From time to time, it is important and valuable to look back at our walk with God. Has your walk been up and down, or consistent? Today is day fourteen in our journey through the 150 chapters of the Book of Psalms. We will cross over the halfway point with another four psalms. There are times when the wicked prosper at the expense of the righteous. It does not seem fair. Has it happened to you?

Today is day thirteen in our journey through the Book of Psalms. We will cover four psalms. At what age were you saved? Were you a teenager like me? Was it in your young adult life? Has it been recent, or a long time ago? How are you coming along in your faith? Will you finish strong?

We are on a thirty-day journey through the Book of Psalms; all one hundred and fifty psalms in thirty days. Today is day twelve. We will look at four psalms, praise psalms. Other than in church, do you praise God from whom all blessing flow?

Today, we are in day eleven in our journey through Psalms in thirty days. We will be looking at seven psalms. We, like David, need Him to hide us from our enemies, to tread down our foes, to lead us to the Rock, and nourish our thirsty souls. Do you need Him today?

Today, we are in day ten of our journey through the Book of Psalms. We will look at seven psalms. Many people think they are good. Do you think you are good? How good is good enough to get into heaven?

Today is day seven in our journey through the Book of Psalms. Today, we will look at Psalms 36-39, four psalms. In Psalm 37:5-6, God promises to give you the desire of your heart. Do you know what the desire of your heart is? Do you trust God to give it to you?

Today is day six in our journey through the 150 psalms and we will look at just three psalms. There are many invitations to praise the Lord in these three chapters. We will read or hear them all but focus on one, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!” (34:3). Do you magnify the Lord and exalt His name? What do the terms mean?
