The last couple of chapters have been about Egypt; Ezekiel 31 is the same. We are going to learn Pharaoh is not going to make it. Like Israel, do you look to others for help? Do you depend on others to protect and provide for you?

In Ezekiel 29, we started discussing Egypt. In chapter 30, it continues with the lament over Egypt. God accuses Egypt of pride. Are you guilty as well?

In Ezekiel 29, we have a prophecy against Egypt; but there is one small paragraph concerning Tyre, which we reviewed in the last couple of chapters. Both Tyre and Egypt fall because of pride. Do you remember where all your blessings come from, or are you taking credit?

Ezekiel 28 is the third chapter on the country of Tyre. The king claims he is a god. Have you ever claimed such a thing?

In Ezekiel 26, we discussed the city of Tyre. Today, that discussion continues with a lament over Tyre. Tyre was rich, wealthy, and enriched others. Is the USA the Tyre of our day?

Ezekiel 26 is a continuation of the prophecies against the surrounding nations of Israel. Today, it is Tyre. Do you believe all prophecy in the Bible must come true?

Ezekiel 25 contains prophecies about the surrounding nations of Israel. They did not treat God’s people well. Do we?

Today we reach chapter 24, the halfway point in our forty-eight-day journey through the Book of Ezekiel. We will hear about the siege of Jerusalem and the death of Ezekiel’s wife. What kind of God would not even let you mourn the death of your wife?

In Ezekiel 23, we are going to learn about two women symbolizing Samaria and Jerusalem. Have you remained faithful in your walk with the Lord, or are you whoring around with other gods?

In Ezekiel 22, God through Ezekiel reminds Israel of its shedding of blood. He looks for someone to stand for Him, to stand in the gap. Is He looking again today?

Ezekiel 21 describes how the Lord readies His sword. Do you believe in the God of the Old Testament, or only in the loving, merciful, graceful God of the New?

In Ezekiel 20, we learn about Israel’s continual rebellion, but God’s plan for restoration. How about you? Are you naturally rebellious to God and His Word? Are you willing to rely on the Holy Spirit to steer you toward obedience?

Ezekiel 19 is a lament for the princes of Israel. As God watches your behavior, what does He see?

In Ezekiel 18, we learn there are no spiritual children or grandchildren. Do you want to see your kids saved, or your parents saved? We all do, so what can we do?

In Ezekiel 17, Ezekiel shares two parables with us. Are you a green tree bearing fruit for Jesus or are you a dry tree, with few branches, and little or no fruit?

In Ezekiel 16, we will learn about God’s faithless bride. Have you been a faithful or unfaithful bride of Christ?

Ezekiel 15 is a short chapter comparing Jerusalem to a worthless vine. Did you raise teenagers and ask them concerning their behavior, why, why, why? Concerning your behavior, do ask yourself, why, why, why?

In Ezekiel 14, elders will be condemned and Jerusalem will not be spared. Let’s find out why. Even when we sin against God and deserve His judgment and punishment, there is always a flicker of hope. Do you need hope today?

In Ezekiel 13, we will learn what happens to false prophets. Does your pastor or priest preach the Word of God, or is he a false teacher?

In Ezekiel 12, we will see another demonstration by Ezekiel. This time he symbolizes Judah’s captivity with baggage. Do you dwell in a rebellious house?
