5 Minute Mogul: Millionaire Secrets w/ Brose Royce | Similar to Tai Lopez, Grant Cardone, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss, Gary Vee: Top 3 Marketing Mistakes That Will Cost You Lots of Money
04/06/2019Published on 02 Nov 2017. Top 3 Marketing Mistakes That Will Cost You Lots of Money 1 - Confusing a Tactic with a Strategy Many companies' marketing isn't working because they focus on a tactic without an overarching strategy. Marketing is complex and requires the deployment of multiple tactics in concert towards a strategic goal. A tactic that works today is unlikely to continue to work over the long run without an understanding of how that tactic fits into the marketing ecosystem to achieve a desired result. 2 - Not Being Consistent Marketing is about consistency. The Ziglar Show: 600: Getting ourselves to change
02/06/2019Published on 08 Aug 2018. Change. That’s our topic in this show. We hear a message from...Zig Ziglar. He’s talking about making personal change, and the great challenge it is. And that it requires us to do things differently, or do different things, if we ever want to get different results. From his message I posted this question on Facebook, “Change is hard and procrastination is powerful. Please tell us about something that happened in your life that caused you to change or increase your performance.” There were many comments specifically on dealing with procrastination. Tom Ziglar and I shared some of our own experiences, and read through and discussed many comments.Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

He is a lean 230 pounds. He is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert who used to tap out 20 Navy SEALs per workout. He is a legend in the Special Operations world. His eyes look through you more than at you. Jocko spent 20 years in the US Navy and commanded SEAL Team 3's task unit Bruiser, the most highly decorated special operations unit in the Iraq War. Upon returning to the US, Jocko served as the officer in charge of training for all West Coast SEAL teams, designing and implementing some of the most challenging and realistic -- and perhaps psychotic -- combat training in the world (his words, not mine). After retiring from the Navy, he co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership and management consulting company and authored the number one New York Times bestseller Extreme Ownership: How US Navy SEALs Lead and Win. Jocko did his first interview ever wi

Read to Lead Podcast: 200: A Look Back at 5 Killer Books on Public Speaking and Effective Communication
24/04/2019Published on 30 Jan 2018. Wow, what a road this has been. Over 4 1/2 years after the podcast began, episode 200 is here. It has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I’ve decided to take a look back over the last 100 episodes and feature 5 episodes that centered around one of my favorite topics. These episodes each touch on a topic I think is so important, I ask a question related to it of nearly every guest that comes on the show. I’m talking about communicating, relating, and, more specifically, public speaking. The art of public speaking and the ability to relate effectively to other people is as important, in my view, as any skill you can hone. In fact, if I weren’t doing the Read to Lead podcast, I’d likely be doing a public speaking-related show. Maybe someday. Join in on our chat below Subscribe: iTunes | Stitcher | RSS In this special episode, my guests and I dig into topics like: * What it means to “perform” in the context of public speaking, job interviews, or presentations * W

In this episode, a summary of his concept of the 18-minute day, a powerful concept anyone can use for a more highly-productive and fulfilled life.Five minutes at the beginning and ending of the day, plus one minute of every 8-hour workday equates to his 18 Minute Ritual. 1) At the beginning of the day, decide what you'll do today and calendar it.2) Check in every hour with yourself. As Peter notes, "manage your day hour by hour. Don't let the hours manage you."3) The end of day ritual. 1. How did the day go? What success did I experience? What challenges did I endure?2. What did I learn today? About myself? About others? What do I plan to do differ
