Can you believe it still? About an hour after the Blues lifted the Cup in Boston, Tom Franklin sat down and recorded his thoughts on how the Blues got here, as well as sorted out his own feelings on his team, the one he's supported all his life and been disappointed by so many times, finally breaking through and getting the job done.

This is recorded not even a half hour after Pat Maroon stuffed it past Ben Bishop to send the St. Louis Blues to the Western Conference Finals, and Tom Franklin wanted to chronicle all of the emotions he was feeling at that very moment. So here it is. Enjoy.

No, the St. Louis Blues did not make the big splashy move that everyone on Twitter seemed to want, but they did get what they needed in Michael Del Zotto. I explore that trade (and wander in to the late 60s/early 70s with Jimmy Roberts for some reason) and others made around the NHL and see where the Blues stack up after today.

Stan Mikita is one of the most interesting hockey players you'll ever find, from his upbringing in the Nazi-controlled...then Soviet-controlled Slovak Republic to the gifts he intentionally and unintentionally gave the game of hockey. Thank you Stan Mikita. May you finally rest in peace.

It's kind of a boring time to be a hockey fan, so Tom Franklin tries his best to spice things up with some NHL Power Rankings. One team collapsed, one team soared, and Tom's voice started dying on him about halfway through because when you talk about 31 NHL teams, you have to talk alot period.

So many rumors, so many of them garbage, and so many people that lop it up anyway. Tom Franklin is getting tired of hearing the misinformation that is spreading...all at the expense of ACTUAL reporters who are always a financial decision away from being unemployed.
