Lessons From The Legacy Of Kobe Bryant...to say our household took Kobe Bryant's passing tough is an understatement.  We are both basketball fans and the nature of the passing was extremely tragic.  Now all of that being said, as Melvin & I were chatting we realized that there were lessons we can learn from Kobe and they all point to LEGACY.  He lived his life in a way that would leave an impact on the world and not just with basketball.  He was in the process of starting his life post-basketball that was leaving a lasting legacy on the world and not just sports fans. What does it mean to choose victory as a Christian?  In Mathew 11:28-30, Jesus describes the life of a Christian or his "yolk" or "burden" as easy and light when compared to the weight of the world that we give  in exchange.  Well how often do we see our walk with God like that?  When I think about taking up my cross and denying myself, the last thing that comes to mind is "light" or "easy".  In this episode we are discussing some of the difficulties that we have faced while trying to stay focused on God's promises in the midst of hardship and struggles and look at scriptures that we can lean on in order to Choose Victory!
