Comical Radio

Comical Radio turned the mics on early tonight a casual business meeting discussing the show's future finances caught fire, burning down the hosts' civility and painting the studio in ashes of pettiness. The major issues at stake: Who works the hardest? Can fifty bucks be split four ways? What does advertising have to do with Kasten's childhood molestation? And later in the show.... Chris gets raped on the cheap beds at Sleepy's and Myka goes to LA, shits in her pants on stage, and then sucks it back up her butt.

The toughest gay man alive gets bumped from Comical Radio due to Kid Rock's interview running long. Disappointed with his turnout, he abruptly corners our Asian intern and threatens to do awful things to his rear end.

Joe Matarese sits down with Comedian/actor Marc Unger (The show Friends), Comedian Juston Mckinney (The Tonight Show, CCP, and 1 hour special on Comedy Central), and writer for the Family Guy John Veiner.

The show got started with a bang when Chris was visited by Danny Lobell in the studio. They discussed their recent road gig to New Jersey. As always Warren Holstien had plenty of commentary to add to the news. Comical Radio crew have commandeered the airwaves - Chris and Danny destroy the Oldbridge, NJ Knights of Columbus followed by a thugalicious parking lot session in Staten Island complete with sex club stories. - 80's music night is sooo passe - To quell the cries for more Daddy Iacono, Chris assures the audience that the Iacono's are brilliant in small doses only. - We flatter the listeners on the forums

Uh oh, someone left the kids unchaperoned. That’s right Chris and Dave were left alone to fend for themselves as Danny and Myka were off on their ventures around the US. The two forces battle the great debate of who was hotter Kelly Kapowski or Jessie Spano? The show seemed like it would go well until the end of the intro when Dave decided to start talking smack about the first guest, Danny McDermott. Danny got on the air and the match was already set between him and Kasten. Eventually the air cleared out when everyone could bond over placenta cream and Dave’s vaginal malformation. Our next guest, Aaron Karo, had a few problems with his last name. Does it identify him as Irish, Italian or a syrup? None of these, he’s just a Jew from Long Island with a Comedy Central special airing tonight or is it tomorrow- Damn, those bad guest notes!

Get out the nuts and bolts because we have another installment of Fixing Joe, with Joe Matarese and Chris Iacono sitting in for Danny Lobell. The burning issue this week; Should Joe continue with therapy? Moreover, is the Fixing Joe show providing more therapeutic benefit than his actual therapy? After taking the invaluable advice of funnyman and heckler-hunter, Bill Burr, Joe has learned to love performing again. He's gained confidence and, most importantly, hasn't been so darn angry. Has this radio gig rendered a psychiatric professional obsolete? Or are his sessions truly worth the horrendous commute? The guests weighing in on the subject are MadTV mistress Arden Myrin and comedian and surviving Jim Norton cohabitant, Jim Florentine. Everyone stumbles into the studio half hung over after Danny's annual Pre Thanksgiving party for all comical staff and past interns and friends. Chris denies boyfriend points are real. Danny talks about going to Woodstock and hanging with Carlin's older brother in a cabin. Kasten talks about shitting his pants at Gun Point. Danny's manager calls into the show to call Iacono out on something. This blog is being written in short sentences that don't connect because the author is still hung over. Commuting into New York City, doesn’t make Joe’s depression any better, neither does getting fired from his job. Which brings us to Joe’s real issue of the week, getting cut from his gig at City Steam in Hartford, CT. After a few nights of fighting off a drunk bachelorette party, guidos and a few hecklers, Joe thought he was on top of his game, screaming at the audience making some great material until his mic got shut off. Thats when things got serious and now Joe needs your help. Joe doesn’t know why he is being punished for having evil hecklers, that he could successfully fend off. Calling in to lend some advice were Gary Goldman and Bill Burr. It turns out they have a lot of heckler experience. Some lessons learned were that it can be best to spit in the face of evil, bachelorette parties will play victim, some audience members are helpful and some are just always going to be miserable. The question still stands though who was wrong Joe or the club?

After dealing with some audio problems, Chris finally get's around to naming his show. The much awaited Kasten Warren fued ended without much of a fight and Chris still want's to see macdonalds shut down. Tales of Teenage LSD use contained within.

One cold November night four individuals in their mid-late twenties got together for an evening chat. These were not any random four people however these were four friends that have known each other for years and at least once a week over those years they would get together to check in with each other, all the while of course pursing a shared dream. Time out, young and old listeners! Today in the studio we had a crash course on dumb college kids, dead culture of New York, pulling pranks and loving your daddy. First up we had Greg Proops, a comedian concerned with his college audiences, who could never quite leave Harry Potter after age twelve. He also talked about the disaster that is technology and thats when it was discovered that Chris is only allowed to attend parties through the internet. Ben Stein, Eugene Levy- No - Michael Musto stopped by the studio and discussed his many mistaken identities, favorite gays, and Broadway shows. He shared stories from the good old days of a grimier New York City when the Studio 54 made sure the likes of Danny and Chris were not allowed into clubs. The crew wanted to help fulfill gay intern Thomas's fantasy by setting him and Musto up on a date, but sadly Musto wasn't ready to take the chance.
