We talk with Mike Lemon and Melanie Forchetti of Mike Lemon Casting, one of Philadelphia's premier casting agencies.  Mike started it almost 30 years ago and has only in the past couple of years, taken more of a hands-off approach.  He's still got his hand in the game, but Melanie has been pretty much running things for the last 18 months or so.  Both started in the business as actors.  Mike's experience was mostly in theater and Melanie had a production background.  Both truly like actors and do their best to help them turn in a great audition.  Mike, quite surprisingly, really did want to be a casting director when he grew up. It just took him a while to figure that out. He stumbled into casting, almost literally, and felt truly at home. He tells us his story of spiritual awakening, too, through his casting. Melanie manages to work 20-hour days and still care for her very young kinds.  Sounds impossible, but she does.  Come here this fun, funny show.

Is it just fear-mongering? Marcello Rollando, commentator at The Reasonable Voice, returns to discuss recent developments in civil rights that affect women in particular, but they're really about ALL of us. Tune in to find out how YOU can protect yourself and the women you love, and stand up for your right to get the healthcare you deserve.

I thought it was time to revisit some of my humanitarian shows. Adrian Suskin has been living in this country for well over twenty years, but he was born and raised in Zimbabwe.  It was very painful to him to watch what became of his country.  In this show, he talks about what has happened to the country – good and bad – since Robert Mugabe took office.     Did you know Zimbabwe used to be known as the Breadbasket of Africa?  And they had a literacy rate of 98%.  98%!   But then, farms that had fed Zimbabwe, and helped other countries, and housed thousands of people and educated their children, now produce next to nothing and employ next to no one.   Adrian and some friends set up Zimkids, an orphans village.  They feed and educate them, teach them usable skills, all kinds of great stuff.  Adrian is also a cancer survivor several times over and just won't quit.   In this show, we make reference to a couple of movies and I got the actors a little mixed up. Djimon Hounsou was in Blood Diamond, as Adrian say
