We represent God wherever we find ourselves. In this message we take a look at 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 and how we need to be willing to do anything accept violate God's word when it comes to reaching those far from God with the gospel.

The messages that the Savior speaks to the churches in Revelation chapters 2-3 are profoundly applicable in our day. But before we get to those seven letters, we need to be sure we're starting out correctly, by seeing the Savior who Speaks.

As a closing to this series, this day our teaching time was devoted to hearing from the Body and how the Lord has used the 12 Prophets in our lives.

Zechariah can be described as the Old Testament version of Revelation. Full of imagery and visions, God encourages His people not only to continue building the temple, but more importantly to pursue their faithful relationship with Himself.

The first of the 12 to speak following the exile in Babylon, Haggai's message from the Lord of Hosts focus' on the building of the temple. While the New Covenant people have no physical building to be at work on, there is still a temple being built and we'd better be busy at that task.

Zephaniah's message to Judah and Jerusalem in particular, focused on the Day of the Lord. This day will not only be one of great judgement which purifies creation of all sin, but it will also be a day of great joy for those who have been purified by the atonement which comes through Jesus Christ our Savior.

Habakkuk is one of the most relevant of the Twelve. He addresses a great 'WHY' in the road of life and turns our eyes back to the basics.

100 plus years after Jonah's message to Nineveh, God's second message is one of certain destruction and judgment. While not our favorite topic, an accurate picture of our God and His love for us is woefully incomplete without seeing the fury of His Judgement.

Micah speaks three messages to the nation of Judah and in them reminds us of how amazingly unique our God is, for Who is like our God?

There's hardly a book in the Older Testament that can compare to Jonah in it's revelation of God's grace and mercy on the gentiles. Jonah, the story of a rebellious prophet, challenges us as we are charged with the message of speaking truth to the world.

The words of the Lord to Edom through Obadiah still ring a powerful and true as they did when he spoke them. The Lord's merciful warning to mankind in 2019 remains the same: "The pride of your heart has deceived you..."

The plumb line cannot lie, Israel must prepare to meet their God. So Amos spoke to the northern kingdom of Israel in his book. God's charge against His people focus' on the socio/economic injustices and abuses rampant in the nation during the prosperous times of Uzziah, king of Judah. These warnings echo through time and impact us today as well.

Through the prophet Joel we are challenged to Wake Up and Wise Up. Using a recent locust plague as an illustration, Joel speaks the word of the Lord to the people of God. A challenge that speaks of God's call to wake up and return to Him.
