On this Resurrection day it's super appropriate that we study this great word of Salvation, Regeneration. We have been regenerated and we can thank God for this work of His in our lives. Regeneration is God's act of breathing new life into our dead sinfulness so that we can respond to Him.

Another great truth of Scripture is that having been chosen, God always calls. This calling is God's relentless work that woos, and draws and invites us to turn and come to Him. It is a once a personal, purposeful and willful call that should leave us humbled and making much of a God who seeks us to be His own.

As amazing as it is that our God has sacrificed Himself for us, we find the truth of our salvation to be very personal, directed specifically to us as we learn about how God has Chosen us in Christ Jesus. What we find in this word chosen is that God Chose us, to Love us and to set us on a path that lead to Him.

As the fifth and final session from our Men's Retreat, Pastor Steve Spuler shared with us the great reward of godly Leadership.

As with any personal relationship, sin has broken our relationship with God. The word reconciliation teaches us that in the Atonement, Jesus Christ restored God's relationship to us. We can now turn to Him, because He has turned back to us.

Scripture makes it clear that sin makes captives of us all. We are not free to do as we please and we are not free to please God. However, the good news is we've beed Redeemed. God has acted in the atonement to purchase out of sin for Himself.

In the Atonement our marvelous God accomplished much on our behalf. Continuing in our study on these great words of Salvation, we focus today on Propitiation: God's act of Atonement which satisfied His wrath against my sin.

The Atonement provided by God for His children is a most glorious topic. This word captures the incredible act of God Himself becoming our substitutionary sacrifice hat forgives our sin. This is the profound center of what it means to be saved by Jesus Christ alone.

This morning we begin a new series on the Great Words of our Salvation. We start with the word salvation because this world displays the reality of our condition as well as the amazing character of our Savior and His rescue.

At the beginning of this series we learned that what we believe should impact how we live. Now, finishing this series we’re taking a practical approach of how that affects our life when we are part of a church body. In this message, we study the different duties associated with taking care of the temple and tabernacle in the Old Testament, like maintaining the lampstand, and what it looks like to take care of the church today. We take it further by discussing the reality of keeping Resonate running and how each of us can be involved in maintaining our lampstand.

What exactly does it mean that we want to lead others to the 'delight and satisfaction of true life' in Jesus Christ? Using John 4:1-30 and Jesus' lengthy conversation with the Woman from Sychar, we can come to understand what this central part of our mission statement is all about.

Making much of Jesus Christ by leading others to the delight and satisfaction of true life in Him. This is why Resonate Community Church exists. At the outset of a new year it's important we review our purpose to be certain we stay focused and on track.

Ephesians 5:7-10 tells us as believers to walk as children of the light. As children of the light we should walk in the light and produce the fruit of the light. As children of the light we should look and act differently. In this message we take a look at Colossians 3 where Paul shines some light on certain things we should and should not be known for. Some characteristics, behaviors and attitudes that should be different in our lives because we are followers of Jesus.

Most often when we talk about being 'Saved' we emphasize what we've been delivered From. This morning, our focus is on what we're being delivered INTO! After all, being saved by Jesus is more than being saved 'out of', it's also being saved 'into'.

What does Christmas really say to us? When we see that Jesus is called the Savior, bringing Salvation, we recognize that must need to be saved from something terrible and indeed we are. This Christmas we worship a Savior who is our Salvation.

Genesis 19 teaches us a lot about sin. We can see the gravity, corruption, blindness and damage of sin, all in one chapter. Greater yet, we can see the escape from sin as well. On this week before Christmas we recognize that sin of Sodom was not in their sexual orientation, but their God orientation and that this sinful problem is the whole reason Christmas was a necessity.

In this lesson we examine how Abraham responded to God's Presence, His Promise and His Plan. In the process, we ask ourselves, how do We respond to God's Presence, His Promise and His Plan? After all, how we respond says a lot about both our character and our relationship with Him.

When you turn to Genesis 18-19, what captures your attention first and foremost, Sodom and Gomorrah? As an introduction to these two chapters, we ask the question, Is it Us vs Them...or is it all about Him. We want to make sure we're seeing the right things.

Genesis 15 revealed to us that God covenants with us and our response is to have faith in Him and His Word. When we come to Genesis 17 we see that a relationship of obedience sets the stage for God to pour our the blessings of His Covenant on us. That's the other side of the coin; God's covenantal commitment to us expects a response of relationship that obeys.

As we turn to the 2nd part of Chapter 16 we see that whether or not we see it or sense it...our God is our greatest ally. We see that when Hagar fled from Abram and Sarai she wasn't looking for God, but God found her and revealed Himself to be her Greatest Ally.
