The privilege of leading is taking people where they may never have been to accomplish what they may have never done, that they can see what they may have never seen. As a Pastor I’ve but one objective and that is to create and bring about positive change to develop and initiate growth, direction and vision in people’s life. In short, to bring people to the place of helping them to see something bigger than they are and ‘with God’s help’ to see that something come to pass.

We’re ‘Now’ overcomers of the weaknesses of this life because we ‘come over’ to the strength found in Jesus Christ.We may not like it, but there may be reasons we go through what we do. Look at Job; he lost all, yet gained all; Moses went from desert to deliverer, Joseph from a prison to prestige. STRUGGLES CAN BE A PRISON OF PAIN OR PATHWAY OF PROMISE! OPPORTUNITY TO GROW OR A REASON TO QUIT!

To Understand the Christian faith, we must understand Paul's letter to the christians at Rome. Martin Luther said, "The book of Romans is the true masterpeice of the New Testament, and the very purest Gospel."

God has a plan for each of us and it is Gods will that we begine to see Gods plan fullfilled. God wants us to succees and advance in life. Yet the fact is, each of us still experiance struglgles.

Most people differ little, but little difference is what makes a big difference. Especially, when the little difference is attitude… is it positive or negative?When we lose hope of doing better, we lose everything that makes life worth living. It is here we begin to understand what we’ve learned is what guides us. Think about it, the person whose knowledge does not give him greater understanding has failed.

When we FAIL TO RECEIVE victory in our everyday life it is because WE FAIL TO REMEMBER who we are and what the Lord has done.

Grace is a special word, one that can only belong to a child of God. The world uses it, but doesn’t understand nor appreciate it. Grace is much more than unmerited favor, something we don’t deserve! Grace is the merciful kindness of God, which enables you and I the ability to turn our lives to Christ and to continually stand strong and be increased in our Christian faith. All of our knowledge, affection and hope kindling the Christian virtue in which we live; this is what we know as Grace! As a matter of fact without this wonderful God Given Grace, you and I would be lost in every capacity of the word!

Today is Mother's Day. God used our mother as an instrument to craft us and make us into the son or daughter. He used her to bring us into this worls, that we could in turn, bring glory to God.

Everyday, we go to the mailbox and pick up postage we receive. We open the mailbox with anticipation yet often we only find disappointment. A reminder of something I bought that I really didn’t need. Something I did that I really should not have done. Something that happened that I really wish hadn’t.The world is full of disappointment, hurt, resentments, etc… Debts that are piling up, many that are non collectable by collectors, and non-payable by debtors. I want to look at a letter that each of us have received at one time or another. Yet unlike the rest, this is a letter that once opened will bring great joy. Because when opened you’ll find stamped across the bill, ‘Debt Canceled.’

In all reality this is one of the Christians biggest problems, “Hanging On!” Oh not that hanging on is bad. It is just that TOO MANY ARE BENT ON HANGING ON TO THE WRONG THINGS. What happens, is that when they have gotten to the proverbial, ‘end of their rope’ they have a tendency to tie a knot and hang on, giving up the fight that would lead them to victory.

God gives us all things, desiring that we rejoice in all things. He gives today and says, “This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.” He gives us tomorrow and tells us not to worry about what tomorrow holds and to have peace for He is the one that holds tomorrow. Yet there is another day that we have. The day we call yesterday, the day before. The ‘once upon a time.’ For some it’s the ‘I wished it never happened’. The ‘if only’ or ‘should have been.’ I’ve always said, “Tomorrow is the today that you worried about yesterday.” Yesterday can be the most difficult thing we’ve ever dealt with. For some it’s more a nightmare than memory. What we thought should have been joyous and happy, is found to full of pain and hurt. Yet most never realize how much pain and hurt until they get to tomorrow. Sadly, to many have seen their past become a very real part of their present.
