Here are some interesting questions. I believe they have a great deal of significance to the topic today so I would like to pose them to you...1. What will guard us against foolish extremes? 2. What characterizes those who are habitually successful? 3. What single quality in a business builds resepct deeper than any other? 4.What brings security in relationships? 5. What strengthens confidence in leaders? 6. What is needed most by parents in the home? 7. What will add more weight to your witness for Christ than anything else?The answer to all: consistency. Being steadfast, persistant, something or someone you can count on. Mothers are made of this when little ones get sick. As are missionaries who lose themselves in their labor even though it yields little fruit. Determination is its strength...Diligence is its brother...Dependability is its partner...Discipline is its parent.

Scripture equates life to a 'race'. In it, learning where we put our trust is essential to overcoming the obstacles we'll face. Living is about gaining, gaining is about losing. A daily commitment to our Lord and Saviour is required to live this life victoriously. God promise that if we are committed. We are 'DESTINED TO WIN!' Let us start today and make it literally the beginning of the rest of our lives....A VICTORIOUS LIFE!!!

The law of God is like x-ray. It has the power to expose, but not the power to heal. Rules change no one. The law of God shows the unreachable distance between what we are and what God originally made us to be. God's law is like a spotlight revealing who and where we are. We sing about that: Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. This is God's greatest desire, to get us from where we are to where we need to be and it does that through and by His Amazing Grace.

One of the things that helps us relate to Jesus as a personal savior is that He has been where we are and can relate to us on the basis of humanity...Phil 2:6-7 Though He was God, He did not think of equiality as something to cling to. Instead He gave up His divine priviledges and took on the form of a slave...He stripped himself of all divine priviledges and dignity and assumed the guise of a slave born under the dominion of satan's kingdom. Born in the most humble of circumstance to teenage parents doing all this so He could rescue us.

In a Christian worldview, freedom is the ability not to insist on my rights, but to see that God gets His. I have asked for many years, is it possible that through our independence we have really given up our freedom? We must understand Jesus died to set people free, not make them independent. Co-dependence is the catch phrase of the day. Yet that is exactly what we are to be in Christ, co-dependent, for without Him we can do nothing! You see... whenever God touches sin, it is independence that is touched and this awakens resentment in the human heart. Yes, it is our independence that must be blasted clean out; there must be no such thing left, only freedom… which is very different. Join us as we ask, ‘Do We Desire Independence or Rather Do We Long For Freedom?

Our ‘Christian view’ of God to say the least, is tainted by the ‘Worldview’ many have of God; especially when things are going bad. There are many that somehow see God as someone who can never be pleased and will disown us at anytime. Yet this is not the God we serve.In this message, if I do only one thing, I’d like to help each of us see God in a new and fresh way. How much he really loves us, and help to understand that the love God has and gives is one that has no strings attached. A love that truly is unconditional. There is a necessary and indivisible relationship between the life of thought (what you think and dwell on) and the life of action (what you do and act on). Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinks in his heart, so is he...The human mind will always set itself on something. IT IS A LAW OF LIFE. If a man thinks long enough about something he'll come to a stage that he cannot stop thinking about it. The real you is who will control your thought life.

The Family is under such attack in this day. Every aspect is scrutinized inwardly andf openly. Motherhood, Fatherhood and Childhood is being challenged as to their effectiveness in modern society. Sadly, if we fail in our homes we neutralize our ability to positively affect our nation, even Christianity!

Many of us are ‘clouded over’ with our present religious conditions. Yet the Spirit, time and again, blows the cloud away and reveals our condition. Yet through our apathy we allow the cloud to drift right back over our lives. Our pursuit, if any is made, becomes little more than an aimless stumble all the time convincing and believing in ourselves that God knows where we are and tolerates our lack of commitment. IT IS THIS ‘SEDUCING HAZE’ THAT COVERS THE SON FROM SHINING FRESH IN OUR LIVES!

Freedom has never been free! History-making events have been caused by various catastrophic happenings changing the landscape of the world. Yet, only one event divided history into two parts (BC/AD) affecting the future of all of mankind… a baby’s birth in the city of Bethlehem. On this one event has hinged the mystery of the ages. That God could love the human race so much as to send His only Son in order to bring them back to right relationship with Himself. Still because of birth of Jesus, more men, women and children have given their lives; more than all wars combined. Yet it is also through this one life that more freedom has been bought and paid for. The sacrifice of a solitary man. That man was and is the only Son of God, the only hope for mankind in the world, the only Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

This Morning I want to talk to you about you... Contrary to popular belief the most important things in creation are not the animals, the trees, the oceans, or even the environmnet. I'm not against anu of these things nor do I demean their importance. It just must be said that all this was created for us, so we must make oour minds up how we choose to treat our life and what is around us.

In today's world, taking the bible 'literally' has been challenged beyond measure. Eden, the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, King David, King Solomon, etc....yet recently,'Bible Myths' as they were called, have been archaeologically and scientifically proven. Still one of the greatest mysteries known to mankind is still challenged, which is the reality of the resurrection! Did it really happen? Was it a hoax? So how can we be sure the resurrection was real is we were not there?

Let's talk about Heaven. All who know Jesus as Lord are going to spend along time there, so I think it would be good to know what we should be looking forward too! Let's first understand that there are three different levels of heaven discussed in the Bible...First there is the atmosphere just above the earth...air,clouds, etc. Second, there is the stellar heaven containing the stars and planets...Finally, there is what's called 'the third heaven' where God's throne is located...

So many make no plans beyond today. Not a 5-10 year plan; I'm talking of eternity. Col 3:1-5 and I Chr 29:15...As most of you know, I enjoy Disneyland, as a child I remember watching Walt Disney talk about Disneyland long before I was able to go. I suppose the draw of Disneyland is its implied reality, 'a place where dreams come true.' That same 'wonder' drives you and I: we were born knowing there was something more to life.

Every person on this earth has basically three issues that must be dealt with to give him or her peace. No matter how successful, unsuccessful, famous, infamous, beautiful, unattractive, handsome and/or plain they may be, these traits are key to the hope or demise of their future. So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; for the Lord had closed all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham's wife. Genesis 20:17,18This is the first mention of healing in the Bible. This first mention has to do with a family healing. It is something that ministered throughout that family. It touched the generations of that family. So you know that it is God's priority for you to be well.
