10/8/2023 Haggai 1:3-8 God Will Build His House Intro: The Book of Haggai was written in approximately 520 B.C. Haggai sought to challenge the people of God concerning their priorities. He exhorted them to turn from the uncleanness of their ways and to trust in God. The Book of Haggai is a reminder of the problems the people of God faced at this time, how the people courageously trusted in God, and how God provided for their needs. God WILL build His house….the question is……are we going to build with Him or against Him?

10/1/2023 Acts 6:8-10 How To Be Feared By The Enemy Intro: We have enemies. Some of them are not so obvious. We have people that get mad at us and may even try to fight against us. the US has enemies. We have an adversary called the devil. So if you are a Christian you have an enemy who will use every means he can to stop you from serving Jesus Christ! How would you like for the devil and his friends to fear you? Little ol me! Yes you!

10/1/2023 Judges 21:25 People Do What They Think Is Right Intro: The Book of Judges does not specifically name its author. The tradition is that the Prophet Samuel was the author of Judges. Internal evidence indicates that the author of Judges lived shortly after the period of the Judges. Samuel fits this qualification. The Book of Judges was likely written between 1045 and 1000 B.C. I want this evening to look at the LAST verse in the of Judges. This verse is a duplicate of Judges 17:6. It is a sobering comment on what went wrong with God’s people and with all people in general.

9/24/2023 Philippians 4:19-20 He Will Meet Your Needs Intro: We hear of food shortages, runaway inflation, gas shortages, electricity being rationed, health care costs rising. The end of fossil fuels. The end of life as we know it. Twenty thousand car loans are defaulted every month. Thousands of home loans are defaulted every month. People are having a tough time today. Fear and dread are at every turn. But let me ask you this….what did you think the last days would look like? A stroll into heaven? We are going to see and are seeing the birth pangs ever since Israel became a nation in 1947. The wicked one has been working overtime to bring about a one world government under the control of the Beast, the man of sin, the anti-Christ! We are moving quickly toward this.

9-10-2023 The Laodecian Church Revelation 3:14-18 Intro: Laodicea was 45 miles southeast of Philadelphia and 90 miles east of Ephesus. It was a wealthy city with thriving banks, a textile industry, and a medical school. The city was also known for its sparse water supply. All of these characteristics are played upon in Christ’s message to the church in our text today. 15–18. References to Christ as the Amen (meaning “The True One”), the Faithful and True Witness, and the Beginning (meaning “The First Place” or “The Ruler”) of God’s creation indicate that the lethargic Laodicean church (vv. 15–18) should pay close attention to His words. This church is alive and well today and just as lethargic perhaps more so.

9-17-2023 Daniel 7:23 The New World Order Is Coming No Matter What America Does Intro: Like a large ship speeding toward the dock….nothing will stop it now. It is too late to do anything but pray and prepare. We have done it too ourselves. We have mocked God. Thumbed our nose at God. Flipped God off and now we ask Where is He? As stated in our “Sign of the Times” We have Aborted and murdered millions of children. We have allowed children to become sex slaves. We have allowed gender to be fluid. We have given over to debase and sick immoral wickedness and we applaud it and parade it down our streets. We have allowed all of this and now we wonder “where is God?”

9/10/2023 Galatians 2:16-21 Why Did Christ Die? And we think that God is just some grand pa type who will pat us on the back and say “come on in buddy..” He is AWESOME! HE IS HOLY! HE IS PERFECT! HE IS JUST! HE IS GREAT!!! This almighty God loves us and sent His Son to die for our sins. How will you escape if you neglect so great a salvation? You WON’T!! But many are still trying it…it’s called religion…It’s called self-righteousness !

Hebrews 10:24-39 The Day Is Approaching Part 1 Intro: I don’t mean to harp on the end times all the time….but it is the last time. 1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. How should we act? What should we be doing? How should we live? 2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness…

8/27/2023 2 Peter 3:14-16 The Enemy Wants To Get Us Off Track Intro: The Devil will try anything to distract from the word of God and the work of God. He will use any tactic. Even things that seem to be harmless can distract us. Even things that seem helpful can be harmful. Peter tells us to be diligent…that is make every effort to not be distracted from following the Lord Jesus Christ and His word.

8-20-2023 John 6:39-40 The Last Day Intro: Six times Jesus mentions the last day in the book of John. John is the only one who uses that term in His gospel. What is the last day? When is the last day? We will see what the Bible says about the last day. Three definite truths we find in this passage…

8/20/23 Daniel 9:2 Why Seventy Weeks of Years? Daniel 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

8/13/2023 Daniel 2:48-49 The Rapture In Daniel Intro: The Old Testament prophets foretold the New Testament. Especially some of the end time events. I believe the rapture is right here in the book of Daniel.

8/13/2023 Revelation 13:1 The Beast Is Almost Here Intro: The Beast, The Anti-Christ, the man of sin, the son of perdition will be the leader that the world is looking for. Jesus lived until in 30 AD but the world didn’t want Him. The Son of God was despised and rejected by men. But not this man of sin….He will be loved and received by men and praised by men and be the man the world has longed for. He is almost here. I can hear the hoofbeats of the apocalypse now and the final rider of the white horse…the final world dictator is almost here. The man the world has dreamed of is almost here…..

8/6/2023 1 Peter 4:12-13 Don’t Be Sad…Be Glad! Intro: People today are sad, depressed, and some are just scared of the future and haunted by the past. Jesus came to set us free from all that. He never said we wouldn’t have tough times but that He would make us tougher than the times by warning us and preparing us and filling us with His joy and His victory

8/6/2023 Daniel 2:48-49 The Rapture In Daniel Intro: The Old Testament prophets foretold the New Testament. Especially some of the end time events. I believe the rapture is right here in the book of Daniel.

7/30/2023 1 Chronicles 16:23-34 Where Do We Go? Intro: The Book of 1 Chronicles was likely written between 450 and 425 B.C. The Books of 1 & 2 Chronicles cover mostly the same information as 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 & 2 Kings. Perhaps the biggest distinction is that 1 & 2 Chronicles focus more on the priestly aspect of the time period. The Book of 1 Chronicles was written after the exile to help those returning to Israel understand how to worship God. The history focused on the Southern Kingdom, the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi. These tribes tended to be more faithful to God. The first 9 chapters of 1 Chronicles are dedicated to lists and genealogies. Further lists and genealogies are scattered throughout the rest of 1 Chronicles. In between, the Book of 1 Chronicles records David’s ascension to the throne and his actions thereafter. The book concludes with David’s son Solomon becoming King of Israel. We used to sing the song “the King is coming…the king is coming praise God He’s coming

7-23-2023 Titus 1:2-4 What Gives us Assurance Of Eternal Life? Intro: The phrase Eternal life is not in the Old Testament. It is in the New Testament. It is assumed in the Old Testament. Everlasting is in the Old Testament 65 times describing God and the covenant with Israel and one in Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Until Jesus came and salvation through Him eternal life came through Him. Of course Eternal life existed in Old Testament times but it is fulfilled in Jesus Christ in the sacrifice of Lambs, Bulls and Goat and to of Course the Lamb of God Jesus Christ.

7/16/2023 Genesis 15:1 God Gives Us Victory Over Our Enemies We are at the close of the church age. God will have the victory over all of His enemies. We had better be on God’s side for any other side is going to lose.

We are having a revival in America. Not of the Bible or repentance toward God. But a revival of the doctrine of demons. Devil worship. Not openly not even knowingly. But if you worship yourself, your agenda, your plans, your hopes then you are worshipping the same thing the devil does. Himself!
