12/17/2023 Numbers 24:15-18 The Prophecy Of Balaam Intro: Balaam was a wicked prophet in the Bible and is noteworthy because, although he was a wicked prophet, he was not a false prophet. That is, Balaam did hear from God, and God did give him some true prophecies to speak. Balaam’s donkey talked and told Balaam he refused to walk and laid down fearing the angel of the Lord that Balaam could not see. However, Balaam’s heart was not right with God, and eventually he showed his true colors by betraying Israel and leading them astray. Balaam was not a Moabite but was a Aramean. Numbers 22:37 Balak has brought me from Aram. Balaam’s three prophecies of blessing on Israel infuriated the king of Moab, who told the prophet to prophesy against Israel…told him to go back home with no reward: Before he left, Balaam reminded the king that he had said from the very beginning he could only say what God told him to say. 12/17/2023 1 Timothy 4:1-7 The Ways Of The Wicked In The Last Days Intro: The Bible tells us that evil men shall wax worse and worse. And that makes sense. The further you get from the beginning the worse things get. A spinning top loses it momentum the longer it spins. That’s the world today. The farther we get from God the more we lose our moral direction. A top weebles and wobbles until it finally falls over. People are weebling and wobbling on the brink of destruction right now. No walk with God. No strength of moral character. Just confusion and chaos. It’s sad. But Jesus warned us about these days. Our job, our ONLY JOB….is to be faithful to Him and preach the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ.

12/10/2023 Ephesians 5:11-14 Be Awake Or Stay Asleep Intro: The World today is full of activity, wars and rumors of wars, evil doings and evil goings on. It seems they never stop to rest. But let me tell you they aren’t the ones I’m worried about. They are what they are ……and they are going to do evil and stay at it. My worry is the church or at least those who claim to know God. They are asleep. They are not aware of what is going on and the true depth of the wicked and the purposes the wicked have. More than 90% of Christians do not know the basics of Bible prophecy. They are generally aware …..but they don’t know any specific prophecies. Most churches don’t believe in the rapture or even in Israel’s future kingdom. That’s okay but they are missing a great blessing and comfort. The Bible gives two blessings for reading and understanding the book of Revelation and comfort for looking for the blessed hope….the rapture of the church. It’s not a salvation issue if you don’t believe in the rapture….b

12/3/2023 Mark 15:11-13 The King Of Israel Intro: Trump Derangment syndrome. Now we have Israel derangement syndrome or Jewish derangement syndrome. Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. It is God who is determined to bless Israel because they will carry salvation to the whole world. 11/19/2023 Psalm 118:1-14 Why Do We Give Thanks? Intro: A recent survey said this is the most unthankful generation in history. We are not thankful or grateful to parents, grandparents or friends. We are not appreciative but we expect people to serve us and to please us. Tips are at an all time low. Thank you is rarely said. And giving thanks to god abounds. What??? Yes thanks to god “little g” you thank your god. Who is your god? It’s YOU! the god of self, self righteousness and selfishness. Why do you thank someone who has no power to do anything for you? You can’t guarantee your next breath! You can’t guarantee your next step! You can’t guarantee your next heartbeat….yet you trust in yourself and give thanks to all the gods of self that give you a moment of your own evil selfish desires.

11/12/2023 1 Chronicles 5:18-26 Blessing Or Judgment Intro: Verses 18-22: These verses contain a further notice of the “Hagarites” of Trans-Jordan (east of the Jordan river) and their battles against the two and one-half tribes that settled east of the Jordan. This section is important for its recognition of “God’s” divine government in operation, directing political affairs among men in accordance with His intended purposes. Reuben was the son of Jacob and Leah. Gad was the son of Jacob and Leah’s handmaid Zilpah and Manasseh was the son of Joseph who was the son of Jacob his beloved Rachel. Only half of the tribe of Manasseh was in this area east of the Jordan. Blessing or Judgment is the choice of nations and people. If you follow Jesus Christ you will be blessed if you follow yourself and what you think is right the result is judgment and death.

11-5-2023 1 Peter 1:10-13 God Has Worked It All Out Intro: God is in control. He is in control of cancer. He is in control of when loved ones die. He is in control of the Middle East! He is in control of governments! He is in control in all the chaos. He just wants you to trust the process that the world is going to have to go through. I heard someone say this week….. 10/29/2023 Isaiah 50:10 Stay Upon God Intro: What a time we live in. I get up every morning and I do three things. First…I get over the surprise that I am still here. Second….. I quickly check the news to see what Israel and her enemies are doing. And third…. I read the Bible and pray. The third thing is the most important. I want to stay in the Bible and in my walk with Jesus. There has never been a time like this in our lives. No nor will they ever be like this the Bible says. Even the most ardent skeptic has to agree that this is a time like no other. The whole world is involved and the whole world is connected moment by moment. How do we “stay” upon God and what does that mean?

Intro: First of all, I don’t know for sure if this passage describes a war or a skirmish that happened in 1948, 1967, 1973 or in Israel’s distant past or if it is for today. There are many similarities to those past attacks and the Psalm 83 war. But I want us to take a closer look at Psalm 83 and see what God is saying to us here. Is it for today or has it already occurred. In the Past? Asaph who wrote it was not a poet, or a musician, he was a prophet. 2 Chronicles 29:30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the Lord with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer (prophet). And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped. Prophet’s prophecy. So this definitely is a prophecy.

Psalm 83 and beyond. Using Psalm 83 as the backdrop where are we going from there? God-Magog war is next. The rapture of the church is in between there somewhere. Wars and rumors of wars. The inner circle of Israel's enemies and the outer circle of Israel's enemies. We must keep our eyes on Israel to understand Bible Prophecy in these times.

10/23/2023 Luke 18:7-8 Delay is Not Defeat Intro: The world is falling apart. But for the Christian it’s only falling into place. God is still in control. Sin has to reach it’s apex. God is going to judge the world. God is going to rescue His children. What did you think the last days would be like? A stroll into heaven? We are the most privileged of all generations to be here and see the rapture of the church and the return of Christ being set up to an unbelieving world. Lord how long? We cry. Where Is God? He is there. He hasn’t moved. He will do things always on time, at the right time and in His time! We must learn that delay is not defeat.

Intro: As long as people can go on vacation, go to Walmart, Go to a sporting event or concert or go fishing or watch a sporting event they are oblivious to what is going on in the world. During Noah’s time people were asleep. During Sodom and Gomorrah, people were asleep. During the first coming of Jesus people were asleep. Now for Jesus second coming people are asleep. What will it take to wake them up?

10/15/2023 Nehemiah 4:14-16 Enemies Around Are Around Us Intro: The days are numbered since birth. Our days are numbered here on earth. For the Lord will come for us in death or in the rapture. So we should work while it is day….night cometh when no man can work. And we will always have opposition from our enemies while we do God’s work and do His will. That cannot discourage us.
