Part Two. The Word of God is rich with the promises of God. But simply reading about them will not cause them to become activated in your life. You must fully appropriate His promises before anything can happen. To appropriate them means you must believe it, speak it, meditate it, and accept it as truth (in spite of your circumstances).

Part Three in the series. When we find that the life of God (His teachings and instructions) is not fully manifesting in our lives, it could very well mean that we have short-circuited His order in the earth. This is most often the case when we bend our will towards disobedience and rebellion against Him. By doing so, we repeat Adam's mistake and abdicate our authority in the earth over to Satan.

There was a time in the history of man, when man was amply supplied with everything he could ever want or desire. He NEEDED nothing because he was amply supplied. But when the first parents disobeyed God, their abundant life came to an end. God’s original intent for His creation (mankind) has always been to live life to the full, until it overflows. Sin (disobedience), however, blocks God’s blessing, and causes us to render lack and insufficiency a place to operate in our lives.

Who or what has garnered the coveted position of FIRST PLACE in your life? When we reserve that position solely to the Lord God, we will find that He is able to take better care of us. Plus, our relationship with Him is cultivated to the point that our faith to "do all things" is magnified, and our purpose for even being is defined.

Your flesh is i constant conflict with your born-again spirit for control of your life. When you recognize that you're in a war for your thought-life and purpose to align  your thinking with God's Word, you begin your march toward victory.

Religion says that you must put up with whatever the devil throws at you. However, the Word of God, which is the born-again Believer's contract in the earth, says that Believers have been given authority over the enemy.

In every challenge we face, we must understand that we do have an enemy -- satan. What we also need to understand is that he will NOT fight fair. His agenda is to identify weaknesses in our armor, and attack us there. However, we can easily win these battles when we use the weapons God has provide us with. Together with Jesus, we make the majority!

Cultivating the love of God in your life, and sharing it with others is the key to experiencing the fullness of His power. Without love, the gifts of God are useless. And without those gifts in operation in your life, you are rendered ineffective as salt and light in the earth.

Doubt and unbelief are two of the greatest culprits working against you seeing the end (or completion) of your faith. Are you believing God for the manifestation of a miracle in your life? How about the salvation of a loved one? Don't allow ANYTHING to block the flow of your faith to see what you're believing for.  

Faith people are NOT moved by sense-knowledge, or reasoning. We are moved by our trust and confidence in God's Word! It doesn't matter what it looks like, what it feels like, what it sounds like. If it doesn't line up with what the Word of God says, it ain't so!

The battle of faith is against what some refer to as sense-knowledge, or reasoning. At best, reasoning can only make certain assumptions based on physical, natural evidence presented at the time. But the Word of God is the eternal truth that changes the facts of a natural situation. Therefore, you empower success or failure in your life, based on the facts or the truths you embrace.

The Christian with unshakable faith is marked as Public Enemy #1 by the kingdom of darkness. The reason is simple: The Word of God states clearly that, by faith, kingdoms are subdued and righteousness is born; by faith, the promises of God are obtained and the mouths of lions are shut; by faith, satanic fire is quenched and there is an escape from the sword. By faith, out of weakness the faithful are made strong and become brave in battle, easily turning the enemy’s armies to flight. By faith, believers wake the dead, don’t give in to torture, gladly endure mocking, beatings, and stoning. By faith, if thrown in prison, those with unswerving faith – sing.

It's one thing to SAY that you have faith in God; it's another thing to DEMONSTRATE that faith. Faith without corresponding action is, simply put, ineffective. Our trust and confidence in God's ability to do what He said He would do should be evident by our lifestyle and the words we speak. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of how God expects our faith in Him to be manifested through us...

Life is good. Life in the Kingdom of God is better! Part two of True Disciples (Forsaking The World) continues...

This is the fourth lesson in our series on "True Disciples". Jesus tells His disciples in Luke 14 that in order to follow Him, they must be prepared to give up EVERYTHING. Today, many would argue that all anyone has to do to be a disciple is simply make a confession of faith, and that's it. Well, the whole point of living a Christian life involves a lot more than just obtaining fire insurance. It does, in fact, have everything to do with having Kingdom impact in the world while we are yet among the living.

This is the third lesson in our series on "True Disciples". Each of us, who call on the Name of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, are expected to "bear much fruit" for the Kingdom of God. There is an expectation that Believers actually do something to continue the work of Christ in the earth, and expand and broaden the Kingdom of God in the process. The Word of God tells us that every seed will bear fruit after its kind. So now the question is...what type of seeds are you sowing?
