Another in our series of classic Geekfest Rants takes a look at episode 72 where Carlos digs deep into Logan's Run with the help of his friend James!  Here's what he had to say at the time... On today's installment of GFR Carlos and James discuss that pre-Star Wars slice of sci-fi, Logan's Run! Much like their Six Million Dollar man chat the pair have a far reaching discussion that encompasses the film's place in sci-fi history, its tv spinoff, merchandising and possible remake!

On episode 46, GV talks about appreciating the spectrum from "trash" to "high end" foods, looks at Spam as a meeting of both, chronicles his latest attempt to follow the sport of boxing, and considers combat sports storytelling.

It's time for Posters of the Month:  Today at GeekFest Rants, Carlos will profile three new genre posters.  The first Star Wars Fan Club exclusive McQuarrie poster, the Star Wars children immunization poster, and the 2001: A Space Odyssey bathroom instructions poster.  Then we take a look at two of the biggest rivals of the Star Wars Kenner figure line, Mattel's Masters of the Universe and Kenner's G.I Joe.  We purchased two figures to represent those lines from the newly recreated vintage style assortment.

In this episode, GV explains why he's EXTREMELY jubilant, takes a look at the brand new World's Famous ISeeRobots Show, buys a baseball hat on air, and talks about life lessons learned from two computer games: The Sims and Extreme Warfare Revenge.
