As Christ-followers we are called to love others, this is both an old and new commandment. Hating people, particularly brothers and sisters in Christ, is a sure sign that darkness still reigns in your life. Abide in Christ and love as he loves.

We know Jesus Christ by the grace of God through faith, but we demonstrate that we know him by our actions. To say "I know Christ" but to refuse to obey him as Lord is to be a liar.

Sin is real and must be dealt with. Those who are in Christ have an Advocate; the same Jesus who provided propitiation at the cross continues to stand in our place. Do not sin but when you do, look to your Advocate.

There is hope for those who confess sin and turn to Christ. There is no hope for those who lie about it. Do not call God a liar and buy into the deception that sin does not exist. Embrace the truth and know forgiveness.
